Yes - in 2023 Annual Report (p77) gave an estimate of net costs to eog of £0.5m in 2023 (presumably planning costs) and £3.7m to complete in 2024 (so maybe some planning but mainly operating costs). But understandably a lot of caveats re cost of rigs at precise time etc.

Show that he can deliver concrete progress on farmouts - not just optimism - and then these notes and presentations will have some traction in the market. Almost 18 months in post and yet to prove he can deliver tangible value on any of our projects.

Lack of belief doesn’t explain a fall on good news - might explain lack of a rise if they were operators but that’s Egdon. Agree with the rest of what you say, but still wary that we are being sold down in preparation for a low ball bid.

Re Wressle conditions are as expected - mainly planning speak for don’t run over the hedgehogs! We still have to wait for the EIA though, which they were hoping to receive in Q4. I’m not sure how, if at all, the recent Supreme Court decisions may impact that.

Great to have some positive news for the weekend - presumably it will get rns’d on Monday. The conditions all look standard and reasonable.

Based on recent I3e bid about 1.5p - will never be as much as people want. S.O. has made a lot of shareholders a lot poorer through his recklessness.

Itsawrap/GP - don’t know if you saw the production figures in latest presentation but eog saying it’s been 376bod over 3 months to end of August. This looks like a welcome stabilisation/slight improvement over June figure of 356bopd from NSTA data. Any idea if eog quoting boepd would be higher than bopd perhaps with gas generators and if this would make much difference to the totals quoted?

That’s true BobbyB, although I would happily swap the lot for 1 rns reporting significant progress on getting value from any one of their projects.

Just a thought - If I3e wanted to get other bidders to step forward would they not have to recommend this bid to make it seem likely to succeed if others don’t move now?

Nearer 13.7p as the shares are only a small proportion of the offer.

VL thanks for the link. I also see from other articles on the same page that Cameron and EQ have a new oil and gas cooperation agreement which may be helpful in terms of our licence location.

Especially since there seems to have been some months of concerted selling which has depressed their SP over past few months. Then that is perhaps a bit like what has happened here since the EQ deal was first announced?

Tovoc - I agree. Don’t feel we are being kept properly informed of progress. Apart from the late EQ update there have been no progress rns’s this year. These frequent presentations mostly repeating old ground are no substitute for formal market updates.

TGNEE - think it’s important to keep questioning - but I can’t understand the logic behind the shorters claim that Dixon is trying to ramp the stock. Why? How’s it going to help if there is no award coming? He’s essentially the Tune rep on the Board - you can’t just sell off a holding of that size on a ramp! So is he supposed to be making a few bob for himself and his mates at the cost of getting sacked by Tune??? The straightforward interpretation is that these buys are a signal of continued confidence by the Board to investors after the Petros article. Some people may claim that we should be cynical and see it as the opposite - but then why should we be gullible and believe them!

No problem - an easy mistake to make - I had to check the figures several times. It’s just a shame as we could all do with a bit of unexpected good news here - especially as the “expected news” seems to be regularly on the slow train - and they seem to have given up using rns’s to update us on progress - Cloughton planning process anyone?

Itsawrap, thank you, have now been able to download it - and hopefully in future. Not sure if I am reading it wrong but isn’t the figure for Crosby Warren 0.0083mb/d, i.e. 8.3bopd rather than 83?☹️
