@itsawrap - thanks, that looks like the highest production since last September. Perhaps more importantly it indicates some healthy stability in production and that the lower figures for Dec/Jan were just caused by the Xmas/NY shutdowns.

I imagine constructive engagement with Petros on the Block is important for future development, even if the final authority for the award is the government.

If your para 3 is right then surely it’s a case of when not if for both licences? Would have thought that the Canadian pension board and Vermillion have so much sunk cost in Corrib that it would be very hard for them not to seek to extend the life by all possible means. Timing might depend on Vermillions profitability or other commitments - don’t know about these - or the other psossibility that another actor would come in to take exploration risk to then sell on to the Corrib partners.

@Joyride - very surprised they haven’t replied based on past experiences - could there be more to it, as while I doubt the value of spending time/money on Cloughton it’s not going to stop them from talking to the Irish Gov,

@ Flombo - PRD seem to shift what they say about Corrib South every time they mention it, so it’s difficult to read anything definite into it for Eog. They seem tied in with Vermillion cos they needed support for licence authorisation, but I wonder if the current statement is more about reassuring their investors that there will be no additional costs from Ireland?

Still think the concerns re another company waiting for our licence on EG or Ireland to lapse are a red herring. These companies will have been in our data room so would be in effect stealing our data even if at a later date - as a consequence they would A) Get sued B) Never be trusted to be into allowed into another data room by anyone again.

If we can’t farm out either prospect in the next 3-6 months not sure why we would really want to limp on. Not sure anything has changed about that. Wressle, Cloughton they all need money to develop and realistically it has always had to come from one of these farm outs - otherwise we might as well rename ourselves UKOG.

Aimshame - I agree with your analysis but I still don’t understand why you think posting it here regularly is the best way to influence the Board of EOG rather than direct communication. This board is good for venting but little else - see my mini rant on the share options!

Little point in averaging down unless you think that the share is going to rise closer to your average and that your holding could become liquid - which it clearly isn’t for Bo at present. So unless it’s blind faith, he must be thinking that investing more is his best option for some reason.

I know - and I’m not usually one for whingeing - but he was given loads of options last year already - what’s he done this year thats added value to the business that means he deserves more? Would be all for it if he had meet any of the targets for the last batch of options - it just seems meaningless as a performance enhancer when the last grant has had nil effect - and am getting fed up with the lack of any RNS news over past 15 months that isnt just corporate thumb twiddling.

Do feel that if current salary level doesn't motivate him, then stop wasting the money by giving it to him. Mind you, options at above 1p for 30 days seems like a day dream at current prices.

He crossed the 6% threshold so had to report. It was a small sell and while less exiting than conspiracy theories which would cast WA in some devious plot ( for which he has no form) - the much duller but more likely explanation is it was some change for minor reasons which is why it was overlooked for reporting.

Also with almost 10m bought at 0.65p looks as though someone is trying to buy out our seller - about time!

Yes very late, but it looks like some minor transaction of less than 1m shares which maybe tripped a percentage barrier without realising it until end of year?

There is massive uncertainty and huge falls across all shares as a result - of course some will try to exploit this. Let’s hope we are at “peak” uncertainty, because pretty much everything (except perhaps Corrib as Irish Gov could decide to move sooner) will be on hold atm.

Yes, Aimshame, drastic market conditions require immediate action on costs - salaries being the quickest and most reasonable means to reduce outgoings.
