Rahel....prob with this new position you are adopting i.e. being the end of a bell....is that many folk helped you with advice, not facts but advice. Then when its going well you are bigging them up.....now you are just being unreasonable.

Porky - I get what you are saying......I'm a VAL fan and not worried about my investment averaging at 26p across my ISA and SIPP....not a big holding to some but the single largest holding I own as % of my P/F. I just consider myself very grounded....we may get some hints here and there, maybe a touch more today.

I doubt very much this Q&A will be a game-changer....RNSs needed to confirm that, not a Q&A....

I wasn't expecting any. Think about it, a lot of questions have been submitted and any news today would make most of those questions pointless. All going to be about inference today, which is not really ideal....

Aye, agree to a point Bankfool....though real confidence would come from holding this level so it forms a nice support...but still, we are the highest we've been for a while despite yesterday's fall...a level we should all be happy with when put in that context.

I added 2 x £5Ks worth around 10ish at approx 28.5p….HL would not allow a £10K buy at the time….this move looks solid….

Yes....those few tests of the 29p region are very reassuring.....being selfish, I'd like any move-up to wait until early Oct as I have more funds then....

I really don't think investing, cert not in AIM is for you.....this is is what VAL does....and until I see a reasonable and sustained move above 26p, I aint gonna get too excited....likewise, if I don't see a sustained drop below 18p, I aint gonna get worried.....

Candid - I struggle to see what the changes in your area are to do with the EU? Many of those industries were under attack buy the Thatcher Govt before she signed the Singe European Act. Besides, globalisation would have happened regardless of the EU. And the oft tripped out point of "well, before the EU....." just as it would be ridiculous of me to suggest thanks to the EU there are less homes with outside toilets, using the EU as a reason industry has changed for the worse is just as ridiculous.

As for CEY.....a good buy at these levels....

Possibly PW but I think more likely to be consolidation at these levels, which is healthy....as is the fact the drop was bought into. Besides, Lucyd will know who their likely competitors will be now and going forward and I am sure they acknowledged Rayban would be one, as would the likes of FB, Google, Apple etc so not just traditional eyewear brands.

In any case, the beauty of TEK is that it has the other strings to its bow and potentially others to come in....
