Last week the large trades were bang on the SP, no movement....this week, on the BID, no movement......so far....summat is brewing....I will hold........sqeeky bum time.......dunno much about SGP so can't comment.....my others are LGO, Solo and GKP.....so all defensive plays! A bottle or two of Talisker may be in the offing....good luck

Curious all these large trades of late with little or no move in the SP.......it's gonna be categorically one of two ways by the looks of it.......we will surely find out soon.......

Eurochem is the main drag on this SP. They issued a claim for a staggering £800mil for incomplete work against SHFT who were sinking a potash mine shaft in Russia for them. Prior to that SHFT had already made a claim for non-payment for the work carried out. My understanding is that it was more difficult to sink the shaft than had been anticipated. As far as I can see, it will come down to the contracts that were signed between the two. Plenty of thoughts and opinion on here if you have time to scroll through them. Though obviously DYOR as well. The SP was in the 60s I think when this came about. Personally, I think this is a great SP. I avg 55p and aint worried. Naturally, I wish this issue never arose, and I certainly aint saying SHFT will prevail, but I will continue to hold as I am confident. Just my opinion of course. GLA and adios......

....these trades bang on the SP that intrigue me. All large and no impact on the SP. as said before, if sells, surely this would have been taken down. I accept this is pure guesswork on my part but, to declare my sentiment, I am a positive holder here. I made some dummy sells last week, and have done over last few months, and for the first time cld sell my entire holding (21,648). Admittedly price has dropped over last few weeks but I take that as a positive development. It cld be utter mince of course! 3 main factors on the SP as I see it. 1- EC, obviously. Some news wld be welcome, even if not the news we all wld love to here. Just some kind f update. 2 - new contracts. 3 - word on the div. either maintained (woo-hoo), reduced or, god forbid, scrapped! Thoughts welcome on SHFT in general or agree or slate my post! GLA......adios

........fact is the EC claim is an unknown. The director buys are a positive indicator though. I think this price is a steal and wld def top up if I could.

Good posts. I too saw the kempton article. Informative re different type of contracts xant. Thanks. Like I said below, I ain't pleased with this fall but I aint fussed either, even if further drop. I am happy to wait and view this as another great buy opportunity. And the div, assuming it remains, is a beast! GLA

You can turn that round as SHFT were requesting payment from EC for work done PRIOR to EC putting in their claim. You would not expect SHFT to demand payment for work done to the termination of the contract without them believing it was a justified request. I agree with you and,,,,(gulp) S&V as no one really knows but then people make decisions to buy/sell on how they may see such things panning out. EC is not an elephent in the room.......most know it is there.......it aint been ignored. I seem to collect court cases......GKP, SHFT and LGO......though on the other side in that one.......
