Re Chaffe & Maris - my view harsher. Grown men paid huge salaries to work for and in the company's interests, with according requisite ethics. - higher the salary, higher the ethical requisite. Both knew precisely what they were doing and IF Chairman tried to strongarm either, the correct response was simple - tell Chair to f*ck off. If Chair persists and rest of BoD back Chair, resign and go public. It is a simple matter - it is called ethics. Anything else is dereliction of duty and defrauding company (stealing, taking money under false pretences, whatever).
By your yardstick, one would excuse Nazi death camp commandants in WW2 for murdering millions because they were being 'leaned on' by Hitler.
My view - attempted fraud, theft, deception, call it what you will, on a grand scale.
Both need go ASAP - zero sympathy, both vermin
I would suggest peeps re-read yesterday's eloquent and emotive 17.04 post by Cmonyoublues - this is the price SHs have already paid, are still paying, and will continue to pay unless an absolute recovery miracle occurs

Keep the faith - see where you are in 2 months time, then another 2 months. Phoenixes do rise from the ashes. With a fair wind this could see 10-20p in couple of months (or sooner) and oil could be $85. Other possibilities then emerge.
If you consider yourself foolish, consider this - who could have foreseen Covid and the POO crash? And who could have foreseen the BoD being thieves? Answer - no one. So bear that in mind. HUR was hit by a perfect storm - Covid & thievery together meant there was not even a single spike back upwards.
I am underwater and can't afford to lose the money. I did not even have a few spare thou to buy at 1p to lower my average. I do not consider my foolish. I await the next few months with interest

Unlikely to see much change - remember they were at it from last September cooking up scheme - cash to PwC, lawyers advisors etc, then the ERCE report, and covering all bondholder costs. The 2 Hearings with QCs would have cost a fortune. They save the 1 million success fee. But with estimates usually being less than the end bill, can still see it topping 17 mill

You are supposed to request SRN & Password 5 days before Meeting, so GET CRACKING. However I requested SRN + Password for Shareholder Plan Meeting 3 days before Meeting and broker sent by secure message within 48 hours.
NOTE - broker has to request it on your behalf from Hurr or it's appointed Registrar
