Say they were incompetent. Or lazy. Or evil. And you did as much as call them on it. Then what? Nothing. You either get the correct percentage of votes to force a special resolution to cut their pay or whatever else you think will motivate them, or continue to be impotent.

Wish we weren't guessing like this. For me it's close to maddening, MSC has "always" been my great hope with Morocco a distant second and the others I don't even think about. I hate this tracking the ship (although I do it myself), and making these guesses. I don't have any solution but if we get past the summer without any contractual progress I intend to begin to organise shareholders officially. By then this will have gone on long enough.

Now this is something that's patently ridiculous. If you want volunteers, ask for them no problem. If you want cheaper people - great point, post that. Suspending salaries because a part failed (or even if they were bad at their jobs) isn't something that happens in the real world. If someone is bad at their job, one of the things that can happen is they get fired, fair enough.

Reality is, the RNS is depressing but none of us are experts in this (me less than most) and I can assess the probability of such a part failing, how many parts there are and how practical it would have been to have spares of every part on site.

Is the whole thing depressing as hell? Absolutely. Do I know who to blame? No.

Cheek plays no part and they're asking the market not us so people saying they won't contribute is irrelevant. They'll achieve a raise no problem but at potentially catastrophic dilution.

I'm sorry that's not necessarily correct, and certainly not stated by them that I can find (it would be very unusual which is why I looked).

Premier Miton, like a huge number of funds, had large withdrawal requests and to settle these would sell across the board. It was a tiny holding so probably just got rid of the whole thing. It's big for us, but unlikely a second thought for them.

They almost never isolate a share and give a reason why it was sold which I why I was so interested that this was the case here. But it seems that was another lie.
