You could argue that SLP has supported the SP to some degree by doing share buybacks but the trend suggests its not having a massive effect.

I would say that JLP did promote themselves as a PGM producer until chrome started to take off so it's not surprising that there's still a lingering perception in the market that they still are primarily a PGM producer. A decent set of figures for chrome will (hopefully) change that perception. I'd say it's essential that the company include financials in the next update rather than just production figures because that on it's own doesn't tell the market much.

Looks like survey activity going on at Muswema, directly over the largest of the EM anomalies. Possibly more geophysics like they did at Cheyeza, prior to drilling.

Summit I know I'm wasting my time arguing with you but the SP has fallen in line with every other PGM producer because the PGM basket has massively fallen. The thing is most other PGM producers are not significant producers of chrome as well. Copper is starting to ramp up after many problems, most of them outside of the companies control. And yet divots like yourself choose to paint an unrealistically bleak picture because you want to buy a bit cheaper.... bog off eh?

I found this in the a report on the Motheo T3 deposit in Botswana (T3 average grade ~1% Cu and in development)

"Published mineral resources for the Copper Belt have typical grades of 1-2% and 10-30g/t for copper and silver, respectively (from Porter Geoconsultancy Database, 2012)."

The published values for the Khoemacau license adjacent to where we are drilling are 1.65% Cu Eq and 2.56% Cu Eq with silver accounting for about 10% of that, so roughly 1.5% Cu and 2.3% Cu.

It will be very interesting to see what our side of the dome produces.

It's also a 'dome adjacent deposit' and judging by the Arc IP anomaly, the shape of the deposit may be very similar.

I speculated a while back that the OB1 project might have been a reason for Jubilee / IRH to be interested in the Chambishi Metals plant, because it's ideally sited for both OB1 and the Mufulira project.

Jonah, it's also entirely possible that what we have been told, ie, they are profiling the dump site, is genuinely the case. OB1 is an accumulation of 60 years of mining waste, over an area of about 8 square km and up to 80m thick. It's going to take a while I would imagine to get an accurate picture of the site.

Mikie, Jubilee didn't name it OB1 (overburden 1), there is actually a waste site with that name already. It's at Nchanga, near the Chingola open pit that was the scene of the mine accident that killed many illegal miners last year.

It's a shame we won't see the full impact in the Q1 numbers but at least there should be some uplift with a month or so of full production. With the second Thutse module also due to ramp up this quarter (in theory!) it should be interesting times ahead.

They were never expecting to get 95% recovery. It's easy to do the maths. 50,000 tpm processed at a grade of 1.5% is expected to produce 5000 tpa of copper in cathode. I work it out to be somewhere over 60% estimated recovery (assuming 90% concentrate recovered to cathode). I guess that will depend on the type of feed processed though.

The WH Ireland research note had it somewhere around 67% I believe.

The point is that nobody could have known about it apart from the fraudster who was trying to bring it… and yet you popped up and with your very first post inquired about it… odd no?! I would say either you spend your time trawling through court records for a hobby or you were in on the scam.
