This is an antigen test not an antibody so I’m effect the test is invalid as soon as you meet someone else or touch a potentially contaminated surface after taking the test. There would be zero point in keeping the test, it proves nothing other than whether or not you have the virus at the time of testing

Yeah I agree, but PIs will all know about #AVCT and will be following the RNS content. Big AL has been on TV twice, if they don't know about it now I don't think they'll be likely to invest just because of an FT article. IMO.

I'd say fairly high, but I don't know if it would make much difference, surely the whole bloody world (well at least those with a trading account) know about the COVID stocks and therefore know about AVCT?

I wouldn't buy on news to be honest, I did buy an additional 25,361 yesterday afternoon. This stock is fickle...a few days of no news and it settles. Cytiva and Adeptrix news was due "in a few weeks" as of last Monday, so perhaps holding off until monday mid morning would be wise IMO.

Well profit is profit Muir. I'm not selling, but you can't blame some people for doing so. It's also interesting that someone inside the company has decided to exercise their options right now, suggests they think this is the peak in the very short term.

Probably, we've seen it most Fridays which seem to buck the afternoon rise trend...and after today's performance I can;t say I blame them lol. Incredible really.

I completely agree with the long term view, and I hold a substantial investment here and won't be selling for a considerable time, I'm just saying this rise is fragile compared to the other plays already much further down the development line.

I see this as a little bonus, but if we get another slow news week until Friday next week I can see a retrace back to around 110 based on the main play. We're literally months away from any revenue as a result of this development sadly.

Very glad to have bought those extra shares yesterday :-) However, we do need to remember that this specific rise is based on a theoretical use of the technology, as an active pharmaceutical ingredient, which means development, clinical trials and approval. That's much tougher and riskier to get than a diagnostic approval! Caution here for the first time, based purely on the current value.

We'd have to treble our market cap just to be eligible for the FTSE, nevermind the FTSE 100. Yes perhaps one day, but even debating it is nonsensical at the moment.

Mortgage, its moving a couple of percent each way...really not a big worry. The test won't be out for another 2-4 weeks minimum, if it worries you that much sell up and come back in two weeks IMO

Yeah it seems they are much less 'close' with Cytiva than Avacta are. I believe Cytiva will be doing all the validation and testing work for FDA approval, likewise with Adeptrix.....much quicker and much more scalable.
