If we were still in December 2017 prior to the announcement of first oil from Catcher I would be seriously worried that the BOD was hiding bad news. However - the last report had Catcher producing in excess of 60K per day so I decided to jump back in at 100p and sit back and wait for the next milestone - the Production Report due soon. I have every confidence that by Xmas we will be looking at a major rise in SP. At the moment we are at the mercy of the market mafia manipulating the market to make their millions. As I do not use stop losses it is academic to me if the SP continues to drop - I will just buy more. My last buy on 4th April was at 65p and sell at 112p - so I am confident that the SP will rise again for at least 30% profit Regards all and GL - SP may stay flat all day with a kick up at close of play.

Italy said it right yesterday - Europe is now a German Empire - the 4th Reich - and Germany now controls more of Europe than Adolf Hitler did. SK - I expect the usual pump and dump on opening then either flat all day with a rise at the end of play - OR if we get some good news from the BOD we could see the recovery set in. I was lulled into a false sense of security from 4 April on as our SP climbed steadily at an average 14% each week - and on days when other oil shares crashed PMO held its value or dipped just slightly into the red. I was surprised to see the 3 day drop in SP last week - down 20% from its 135p high and I sold out at about 112p to preserve profits. I will wait for the recovery to establish itself before buying back in. Regards and GL with your own plans

BNB - the ONLY thing you need now in the roller coaster SM is LUCK. Fear and greed drive the SPs of all companies down or up but added on is the massive manipulation by the big operators - pumping and dumping SPs to make their daily profits. I have been lucky over the last 2 years - I bought UKOG shares at about 1.8p and sold at about 8p with a �43K profit !!! UKOG shares are now struggling to hold 1.5p again. I also made about �10K profit this year buying PMO at 65p low and selling at about 112p - the SP crashed 20% last week from about 135p to 106p. if PMO keeps going down I will buy back in when the up swing is fully established once again. This will be another roller coaster week on SPs IMO but if you have the time to frequently monitor the share price movements you may well make some good profits. I am 72 years young and have traded privately in the SM for 50 years - now retired and lots of time to research companies and listen to other reasoned investing views and then make my investments ! The main rule is - DO NOT GET TOO GREEDY - set a target profit level - 10% or 20% and sell at that SP - do not hang on too long - most investors see huge profits very quickly - particularly on AIM shares - but stay too long and their paper profits disappear and then they are in the red. I should have heard the warning bell and sold my PMO shares at about 135p when Trump said "The price of oil is much too high" - the man is a menace to world stability and I am surprised he is still surviving as POTUS. I will be watching this week - PMO - HOC - and wild cards ARW - DNLM and BBSN. I almost bought into HFD last week but held off - the SP went up 4% on Friday ! We need to get our BOJO back telling us of the fantastic deal he has cut with the Argentinians ref the exports (including oil) from the FI. That would free off the FID for later this year and line up Sea Lion oil in about 2022 with gas from Tolmount and oil from the Zama field. I am out of PMO at the mo and watching this week - the SM is a law unto itself so the SP could plunge further and (like many others) I will try to guess the lowest SP to buy back in. But if the SP rises again I will wait till it passes 110p then buy back in. Just my own plan for consideration by others. I was shocked by the 20% drop in SP last week but I am still confident that the fundamentals are excellent so it is only a matter of time before I will be buying back in on another rising SP Regards all and GL with your own plans

Trump summit talks with Kim - OFF then ON - then OFF - now possibly ON The world cannot keep up with the demented actions of Trump - the most powerful man in the world - whenever I see him on TV I am reminded of Peter Sellers mad performance in the film "Doctor Strangelove" Why does Trump not tell Iran that if it wants to spend billions developing a nuclear device then they are embarking on a MAD (Mutual Assured Destruction) policy. No country has been able to use "nukes" since the US dropped nukes on Hiroshima and Nagasaki in 1945. If Iran or N Korea ever used a nuke their countries would be tuned into a blackened cinder in less than 24 hours. But Mrs May is very stupid to hang on the coat tails of Merkel and Macron and side with Iran against the USA. I think that the PMO BOD has hedged the oil sale price at $58 for 40% of their output - so the impact on PMO of any drop in POO will be softened by that hedging. Lots of talk from the "experts" of a fall to $65 - but Catcher oil is sweet light crude which sells at a "premium" to the Brent price according to PMO home site presentations - I cannot see the actual premium price ! It looks like the Trump - Kim Il Jung talks are back on on the original date in Singapore - so that might calm the world markets next week. Iran is making unacceptable demands on the EU leaders if they want Iran to continue its ban on producing nuclear weapons - so I think the 3 unwise monkeys - Merkel Macron and May - would be wise not to line up with Iran against the USA - we would lose big time - also the UK has very little trade with Iran so May is only currying favour with Merkel and Macron at a very big risk of losing the goodwill of Trump !!! He is already talking about a 25% tariff on German cars and lorries et al - that will hit the German economy very hard. France could see 25% added to their wine and cheese exports while we may see tariffs on our Eccles Cakes and Cornish Pasties !!! Mrs May would be better employed explaining why the Overseas Aid budget has rocketed to �13 billion (most going into the pockets of corrupt politicians and criminal and even terrorist organisations - the top 10 recipients of our aid are the top ten most corrupt countries in the world) Meanwhile back at home 20% of our entire population (13 million people) are living at or below the official poverty line and the Chancellor is looking for a new tax to raise �2 billion for the NHS We also need �10 billion to fix the potholes in our roads. ROS1 - I agree completely with your post - everyone has to make their own decisions and stand by them - no point in insulting other BB subscribers - I wish I had followed my gut instinct and sold when the SP hit 130p (which was my get out target - to hold in cash in case of a SP drop) All the talk about 150p plus (which I agreed with - the fundamentals are excellent) caused me to delay selling and I got out about 113p and 112p. So I lost some paper profits - �5K which if I had stuck to my original plan I would not have lost. I am not complaining - I called it wrong on PMO last week but my side bet on BBSN - the brave bison - netted me �2K profit in one day - I sold out at 2.5p and the SP rocketed up afterwards but is now back down at 1.90p. I also made �43K profit on UKOG last year buying at 0.8p and selling near the top at about 8p - it actually hit 11p for a few seconds - the SP is now struggling to hold around 1.5p. So am I a ramper or deramper - a paid coward or just another Joe trying to make more money in the SM than I can on 1% or 2% annual interest in "safe" banks or building societies ? I am also having great fun gambling and winning most bets I am tempted to buy Dunelm next Tuesday as they have dropped 11% and may bounce back - 10% gain on �20K would bring in another �2K profit - again the fundamentals are right but Dunelm was unjustifiably smacked down on Friday IMO I am staying out of oil and base metal mining companies pro tem - "sell in May and go away " Banks I think are a dead loss - I held LLOY shares at 125p in early 2010 - bought in early 2009 at about 40p - when the BOD announced a 100% extra shares issue I sold immediately and have not been back - the SP dropped soon after to 65p after I sold and it is still at that level today - Zombie bank - like BARC and RBS - all IMOO Small Techie shares look good but on a "pump and dump" caveat - get in quick and sell at 10% or 20% profit if you can. To quote Vince Cable - years ago - "The stock market is no longer a safe place to put your money - it is a sleazy casino run by shady characters whose only aim is to part trusting investors from their life savings " Caveat Emptor (Let the buyer beware) is a good motto to keep in mind - most times a SP looks too good to be true and most times it is ! It all goes back to that idiot Cameron - I posted at the time he called an early vote on BREXIT "He has been reckless in the extreme I think the result is too close to call but would not be surprised by a positive BREXIT vote by a narrow margin " I said to my wife (A very keen Conservative supporter all her life) "I can only think that dim witted Cameron is sick of being PM so he wants to follow previous PM examples by handing over to OZ after a "shoo in" vote to remain in the EU. I had one poster who said I was wrong - all the pollsters were predicting a huge remain vote and he had bet �50K on REMAIN ! Cameron then played the coward and ran away from the mess he had made for an unprepared country and the most useless pathetic Prime Minister we have ever had to sort out. None of our Tory politicians CAN sort out this mess because May made the crass decision to have a General Election because the pollsters were forecasting a Tory gain of 50 seats - instead we have a lame duck government controlled by the N Irish DUP extremists and May cannot go left or right or even stay in the middle without facing defeat from one side or the other - she dare not call another General Election because she knows that the UK electorate are so sick of this spineless mob running the country they would vote Labour into power - despite "Red" Corbyn and his communists supporters. If I was a young man again I would emigrate to Canada or Australia - we once ruled the greatest Empire the world has ever seen but all our best people died in two World Wars to stop Germany controlling Europe - which is what we have now - the 4th Reich - which we MUST leave and go back to our traditional "Balance of Power" position in Europe. ROS1 - TY for that post. I cannot understand people saying I was lily-livered or panicked into selling - I am still about �11K in profit from 4 April so i see it as very sensible to bank profits and wait till the present oil storm passes and the PMO SP starts to rise again before buying back in. A lot of the trades declared post market close were from much earlier in the day - look at the buy prices - which may well have been sells - so I am not tempted to buy back in first thing Tuesday - I will wait for the next trigger point -BOJO`s agreement with Argentina over the Falklands - or POO moving back up - or a "good news" RNS from the BOD - or the next Trading Update which may tell of some paydown of debt. For now I have invested in HOC gold shares which may or may not prove to be a good investment - I have made good profits trading HOC in the past and the SP is down from a recent peak of about 330p and is now 217p - may be due for another upswing. Anyone remember Bhopal and the gas leak from the US company Union Carbide plant - killed and injured thousands but the Yanks just paid about $300 million fine and walked away. GTLD - we were VERY lucky ! I predicted on this BB in March the drop down to 65p on 4 April - due to share value dilution - and I started buying in - On Monday this week I was �16K in profit but sold out today at about 112p with a profit loss of �5K - which left a gain of �11K since 4 April this a real windfall for me - lots of the profit have gone to my married daughter who is recovering from ovarian cancer (one removed) and animal charities have also had a share so I do not feel guilty about making a profit or resent the paper loss. I did NOT see this crash coming this week and was confident PMO was going up to at least 150p - it is anybody`s guess where the SP will now go to but if it does get dragged down further next week I may buy back in as PMO is a brilliant company with the only elephant in the room being the $2.7 billion debt - I fully expect that debt to be mostly paid off by the end of 2019 and with Zama Tolmount and Sea Lion on the horizon 2020 onwards should be great for the SP. Eish & shareminator - I was lucky in my on line prediction that PMO would retrace to 65p on 4th April and I bought in stages investing �40K - I was reassured by the fact that PMO stayed in the blue despite SM fluctuations all the way up to 135P when my instinct said SELL.- but I held on - the last few days the SP crashed down from 130p to today 111p when I sold the lot - still with �10K profit down from �15K. I will keep PMO on the radar and if it recovers well (all the fundamentals are great - only the huge debt to pay off - $2.7 billion) I will buy again but for now HOC is the best place to recover IMO I did my usual research on the HOC mines and production et al and they all look good - Inmaculada going great but Arcata is a "work in progress" The Argentinians pulled the rug on all their tax concessions to HOC so the one mine (San Jose 50% share) is not the brilliant commercial asset it was. Nothing in life is certain but death and taxes (and now Trump`s idiot tweets) So to make profits on all shares you need timing and LUCK. Napoleon had complaints about one of his foul mouthed Marshals and his reply was "I do not care about his social graces as long as he is lucky on the battlefield " Let`s hope we are lucky on the SM battlefield ! Eish - just back from shopping - my wife and I are well but my married daughter had to have a big operation which removed a cancer infected ovary she is perfectly OK now subject to further check ups and I am sending her a few �K profits on a regular basis to help her buy a few "quality of life" things. I am happy to hold HOC for a while and hopeful it will do one of its rapid SP rises - we have seen a few haven`t we ! I am lucky that I have never lost money on HOC shares and have made some good profits - last sale of shares I had was in the 300p range. We just need to keep an eye on old man HOC and his regular share sales !!! I am surprised that the POG has not rocketed with the constant ravings of Trump and the mad antics of the BREXIT EU war. But the important thing is that the SP does not crash like oil shares did this week Regards and GL with your own plans

Eish - bought back into HOC - �35K at 219p - after selling all my PMO shares - bought PMO on 4th April at 65p and hit a high on Monday of 135p but last few days the oilies have taken a hammering so I sold out at 113p - very good profit but lost �5K of it by not selling on Monday. Back once again in HOC - the SP is well under valued and the last few times I have bought in at a low point the SP has gone up lots ! 300p well achievable again in the near future IMO - especially if Trump keeps ranting and raving and upsetting world stock markets. I am not invested here but I wish the dim witted politicians would back off their attacks on water companies - I pay less than �1 per day for all my water - I also pay about �1 per day for electricity but average �2 per day for gas. IMO gas prices are far too high (due to meddling politicians and their crazy energy policies) I came off a 3 year fixed price G&E tariff last November and the cheapest new fixed rate I could get was 40% higher !!! Water bills have in the last 10 years gone DOWN by about 9% - I would support a 5 or even 10% rise in bills to allow more billions to be spent repairing old leaky mains and building new reservoirs. The fundamentals of PMO have not changed so the massive loss on SP this week is totally unjustified but IMO until Trump is put in a strait jacket and carted off to the funny farm fundamentals in companies - especially oil and mining count for little in deciding the SP. Dodger16 - your move but I have always been avoiding VED as it is in a very unstable Indian location - the Indian politicians have shut down 2 major mining areas and I think VED is in very difficult commercial straits - they have been poisoning the local population in both their mining complex areas. Do a lot of research before buying is my advice. GL with your own plans - I should have sold 3 days ago !!!
