Knocking on the door of $70. Will get there tomorrow or Thursday perhaps?

DLG spent another £1.3m and bought 455k shares last Friday. The company will buy back a maximum of £100m worth of shares within the next 12 months. That will be about 2.6% of DLG's mcap. The effects on the SP will be small but every little helps.

FTSE100 future is currently up more than 24points. BP ADR is currently up 1.47%. Brent crude is up more than £1 at this moment. Will it be a good day tomorrow when the Markets reopen after the long weekend?

Lol, me too I have been busy of selling and buying these days. I have got rid of GSK and RDSB totally. I was so fed up with them and now don't hold them anymore. Also sold Poly. I bought BP, DLG and GSF instead. The latter two will be snails I am sure but they won't go down like crazy and pay great dividends. I hope that I have done the right thing......hehe

Well, let see what tomorrow will bring. The weekend has been too long and I am getting bored of waiting for action.

AV has been badly run for too long. It's too messy to tidy up but the current management has already done well. They sold eight non core business and made £7.5b extra cash so far. I am sure that they will carry on doing the house cleaning and make AV more attractive to both private and institutional investors.

Well, buy back is another way to increase the EPS. Indirectly will also help to push up the SP. of course if the management can find a way to make AV more profitable then that would be even better. Let's see what will happen Thursday then. GLA

Well, instead of what have suggested, VOD has teamed up with Google on data analytics. I have no idea how will it benefit VOD financially but at least that's new business hey? Let's hope that it won't cost much joining this partnership and will make good profit on that.

Hope that there will be buy back along with special dividend. I am sure that it will help to push the SP up. If not then I am afraid that the SP will continue to drift lower.

But Brent crude has drop over 50p earlier this morning and now only about 15p down. Hope it will be blue tomorrow when the markets open again after the long weekend.

What I meant is that the SP has dropped more than 6% since ex-div. The dividend was only 3.2%. It has been as high as 299 when the market was only 6700's. Now the market has gone up to nearly 7000! That's why I said LGEN has gone a bit weak lately.

Thanks for your recommendation but I am fully invested. No more spare cash to buy another share. Can only sit back and watch now. Unless I reduce my holding in VOD when the price is right or wait for dividend pay days....... hahahaha!

Well, money makes money. This billionaire will correct more than £300m dividend from these two companies a year. More than £3b in 10 years, £4b if the dividend is reinvested. WOW!! Isn't it great to be so rich?

Of course, provided that these two companies will not go wrong.........lol

Bought in at £2.8495 then topped up at £2.844. I personally think that it will not drop much lower from here. Since the SP is already at 6 months low. Of course it can still go lower. Only time will tell. Wish all holders the very best of luck.

Each to their own, I am one of those 'many not good at selling stocks'. It's why I bought all high income shares. So that I can sit back and enjoy my regular income and kind of peace of mind, need not to worry too much about the ups and downs of the markets.
