Looks good, i think veoneer may still sell to them, unless Qualcomm are expanding their automotive division it seems a more sensible move for them, although ultimately it will be the share holders who decide.

Lots of news coming out of #iaamobility2021 in Munich. This announcement shows Qualcomm is to supply its third generation ****pit applications processor to Renault Group and a partnership to supply the Google Android Automotive Operating System (AAOS).

Qualcomm and Google are engaged in a "land grab" for #****pit real estate, with AAOS poised to become dominant in mass-market #automotive #infotainment. This is a continuation of the partnership Qualcomm and Google have for the #Android OS in smartphones and it is likely to be equally successful. Both companies have extensive engineering resource and are committed to building a dominant position in the automotive sector.

The big developments around this partnership for DMS will happen with the fourth generation ****pit applications processor design wins, where Qualcomm has partnered with Seeing Machines to optimize the embedded driver monitoring engine (e-DME) onto the Qualcomm proprietary accelerators. Essentially any win for Qualcomm with its third generation product is maybe a 90% probability win for Seeing Machines e-DME going into the fourth generation.

These developments will become clearer over the period 2024-2026 and are a key factor why I forecast Seeing Machines to have a 60-65% market share for automotive DMS in 2026.

Seye have 83+ design wins, but it may as well be 830 because most of them will never be on the road. If you look at the table of wins and SOP dates most have expired with some supposed to be happening now from Renault but as with all the rest of the expired ones I feel these will be joining that list, they are taking a different tack with emotion monitoring which may get them some wins in China, but as with the Tesla crashes enquiry the case for DMS gets stronger all the time. We are the clear leaders with 30+ Models with our tech on the roads worldwide by the end of next year with a robust system that works to support the ADAS and the driver.

Nuff said.

Well, the pipeline is 600m so thats one and a half times our current contracts so that alone will be 25p+, although that will fuel the realisation of where DMS is going and will attract some interest, so who knows really, the large re rate we’re all waiting on is coming thats for sure. I think your money is safe invested here, the risk is minimal.

Was just going to post this, it remains to be seen if it is a superior offer, if Qualcomm plan on selling bits of the company as suggested that may not be the route they want to take. As mentioned before, it makes no odds to us, although Qualcomm may be keen to spend money on acquisitions and put in a cheeky offer for us instead? Haha

I was surprised to see 12p friday, I guess its the SETS system as it matches buyers and sellers, today the buyers wanted them cheaper by the looks of things, there is plenty volume though and thats the reason we moved to SETS. The share price was 11.34 today and I could dummy sell at 11.45, depends how much your selling. News with money would be great though.

Well , geotab and mix are working with us too, never heard of anything from them.
