Get rich on level 2+ systems, it’s got to be ubiquitous DMS in all vehicles from 2026, so until then there is no point in getting too excited.

Supercruise is available in China at the moment. So blue cruise will come, but it’s not available in the USA yet either.
As for cost, you need to pay for the pilot 360 and then $600 for blue cruise so, no I don’t think it will be installed for free anytime soon.
Supercruise type tech won’t be worth it in the U.K. as there is only 2300 miles of motorway, so at the moment it doesn’t make much sense, although traffic jam driving would be a plus haha, U.K. infrastructure is crap, plus bad weather conditions, I would rather drive myself

All I’m looking for is 15% a year from now until 2024/25, our expectations are waaay too high due to the information we have been given, 30 models by next year, massive RFQs, but sadly no RNSs to back these statements up. It will come, no doubt, but no 40p for Christmas this year.
I think i had the one of the lowest estimates for year end of 15p and can’t see us hitting that even.

Because DMS by OEM isn’t available at the moment. Probably will be. Apparently we are getting sold to Qualcomm in the next six months so not our problem any way hahahahaha

It’s interesting how the Qualcomm deal panned out in the end with a separate company taking the responsibility for selling the other component parts of veoneer, IF Qualcomm wanted to buy us they would only want the automotive part of the business too, this scenario makes it more likely.

I think its not all cars til 2024 and explains why merc,bmw and Ford have implemented it cos they have autonomous features in the high end vehicles.

The new regulations will be gradually implemented over the course of four years, starting in 2022 with all new type-approved cars with a certain level of autonomous driving capability. By 2026, the law will include all newly produced cars on the EU market, no matter their level of automation. With the new regulation in place, it is believed at least 140,000 serious injuries will be have been avoided by 2038.

Just some thoughts.
The markets world wide are down in general, so lets not forget that, will the current II be a bit unhappy about dilution already especially if new II buy in for less than 10p after Paul saying the rest can buy on the market? Maybe thats just how it goes, things change and you just have to suck it up? I thought that we got paid upfront for engineering costs anyway? We don’t manufacture so why do we need loads of money , we will be getting more money in because of the volume of cars, i guess the technical aspect costs the same for one car or one million it will be the profit that goes up, no?

Well, there’s nothing that can be done about that sadly. Look at Magna, they’ve developed the DMS in the rear view mirror, Paul says we work closely with them, we’re best mates. No RNS about that, but we licensed our tech to omnivision and it doesn’t take Sherlock Holmes to work it out. We’re all frustrated by this situation, one day it will happen, until then keeeeeeep working.
