It's not surprising that Mobileye is out. Mobileye's system is very closed, and autonomous driving uses a wide range of technologies. Only the system that is as open as possible can get a living space, and this will form an ecological threshold. The stronger the stronger, the weaker the weaker. Mobileye selected a niche MIPS CPU that lacks ecological support at the beginning. This RISC instruction set CPU has strong performance and high security, but it lacks ecological support. Recently, MIPS has also joined the RISC-V camp, which makes the future of the MIPS instruction set unpredictable.

I was thinking that myself, but this has to be 100% correct as the car will not drive and/or police called. Is this what the new tech they’re licensing is for? I think so, they’re saying it will represent a step change in DMS.

Auto revenue will compound year on year til 2025, so minimum $32m, these contracts are for the life of the vehicle which is around 7 years per model. I feel there will be more than anticipated again for the second half of the year, but still not enough.

From the bottom of the RNS with the optics start up, this is for next generation clearly not the RFQs which are being worked on at the moment. The current RFQs should drop anytime given the time line was 3 quarters or thereabouts, as usual the OEM are dragging their heels and we can only imagine that even though NDAs are in place the OEM has always been worked out in the past so maybe they want to wait until the very last possible time, such as the VW one, which coincidentally just got signed when they needed to raise more money. Ahem, cough cough.
I’m not getting my hopes up for any changes in the sp anytime soon. As stated many times the list of achievements by the company in the last year or two is astounding and it meanders down so even more contracts are not gonna change anything unless we see some upfront licensing fees for aviation or something material in the short term, not in 2024.

Bonzo, again, they will have to have robust DMS and OMS/IMS for the regulations, so thats good they are getting into Europe now as they will have to meet the regulatory standards and there is only one company really. We are the most cost efficient on the market and as we get bigger that should come down in price further as buying power increases. The technological lead as well, ****pit placement etc, etc, I don’t see an issue.

There’s a reason we don’t get so many Chinese cars in Europe, they are not up to euro ncap standard, that is why they’re so cheap, they will sell in China which is a massive market but the traditional car makers will adapt, they are all looking at over the air updates and subscription services and this is where the recurring revenue will come from, there will be a massive step change. I believe we won’t be changing cars as often, only upgrading software.

The company is moving forward, they’re getting paid well for it, there’s money in the bank, they don;t have to worry, if they need more they can raise it no bother, they’ll just announce another big OEM win to some II and job done. We will get ours eventually. Just keep working and be thankful you have any money to invest in the first place.
We are all fed up waiting, but what else can you do? Loads of my watch list have halved over the last wee while and they do go up and down but they haven’t recovered, so I guess cash is the only safe bet just now, at least interest payments have started again lol.

The 500k this AM musta been a buy, i done a dummy sell of 500k around the same time and it was 6.47 taking the lot no bother.

Set backs due to covid, the OEM got a further 2 years, if that had not have happened then they would have had to act much sooner.
I agree we are in a massively strong place as a company, that RNS was probably the last time we got any direct guidance from the company and maybe its time they gave the market the information they need.
If you look at the licensing deals for example, when will we receive payment for all of them? They are not included in the business plan
November 2020 the RFQs ramped up significantly, 10 months ago we were told 1bn pipeline to be announced in the next 3 quarters with the usual caveats and to double in 2023 yet no official guidance for investors and brokers to work with.

I agree, you’re a bit early with the break even, I hope/wish I’m wrong.

What’s the thoughts on the IPO? How many shares will they sell? The good thing for us is its money in the bank that will come back to us in the event of a TO.
Surely the RFQs will have to be completed first to provide some visibility for the new share holders, plus the next round of RFQs is to be double this one which will look like open goals if we secure the amount of contracts we all expect.
