For the month of October 2025, Seeing Machines sold 1,062 Guardian units. Adding the new US order for 1,100 units announced today and the previously reported autonomous driving contract currently being fulfilled, total Guardian unit sales for the current quarter have already surpassed 2,600 units.

Aaroon, your numbers seem reasonable to me, only thing I would add if that for short-term cashflow Gen3 and BDMS are not equal, the margin (and cash profit) on BDMS H/W sales is materially higher than Gen3.

That said, I dont think it makes any difference if they hit "cashflow breakeven runrate" at end Dec or in Jan.

At the time of the CLN the share price was 5.5p, I am sure they would have taken shares at that price but that wasnt the deal on the table.

The Magna deal will be proved to be a great deal by Paul, imo.

As MADD marks its 45th anniversary, Seeing Machines unveils technology to detect alcohol impaired driving.

Canberra, Australia- As hundreds of people gather in Washington, D.C. to remember loved ones killed or injured by drunk drivers, Seeing Machines announced a new capability for its world class Driver Monitoring System (DMS) technology that can now detect non-drowsy driver impairment, including alcohol related impairment.

"For years our technology, now in over 3.7 million cars and over 60,000 trucks today, has been capable of detecting and preventing distracted and drowsy driving," said Seeing Machines Chief Safety Officer Dr Mike Lenné. "After extensive research, development, and rigorous testing we are now able to detect other forms of impairment, including impairment from alcohol to the level currently required by European NCAP (New Car Assessment Program) standards for alcohol detection." 

In the U.S., DMS has primarily been used to maintain driver engagement during hands-free driving with systems like Ford's Blue Cruise and General Motors' Super Cruise. The European Union now requires these systems to detect driver distraction and fatigue for safety, and starting from 2026, they must also detect driver impairment from non-fatigue causes that include alcohol use. The U.S. has an important opportunity to align with global standards and meet Congressional requirements by implementing DMS technology in all vehicles.

Realistically our metrics are very similar to Mobileye pre their 2014 IPO. Which was $5bn, call it 100p (depending on FX rate)

Smart Eye Aktiebolag (publ) (the “Company” or “Smart Eye”) has successfully issued senior unsecured bonds in a nominal amount of SEK 300,000,000 under a framework of SEK 600,000,000 and with a tenor of three years (the “Bonds”).

The Bonds will have a floating interest of 3M STIBOR plus 7 per cent per annum. Settlement of the Bonds will be on 18 December 2025. The proceeds from the issuance of the Bonds shall be used to (i) refinance existing debt, and (ii) finance general corporate purposes (including transaction costs and acquisitions).

It's thought provoking, with an aging population the issue of "care" is a big one, these Humanoids could have a real impact by delaying or preventing the need for individuals to enter care homes.

I find myself agreeing with Brockwl on this one, a limping SEYE as our main rival during this period of design win decisions coming soon, is good for SM.

Smart Eye announced this morning that it has mandated SEB as sole bookrunner to arrange fixed-income investor meetings starting today, with the purpose of exploring a potential issuance of senior unsecured bonds. The contemplated amount is SEK300m under a SEK600m framework, with a proposed tenor of three years. The proceeds would be used to refinance existing debt and for general corporate purposes, including acquisitions. While the company notes that the final outcome depends on market conditions, the fact that the mandate is public and the investor meetings begin immediately suggests a high degree of preparedness and confidence in achieving a successful transaction.

In our experience, companies do not go out with this type of communication unless they are already quite certain about investor appetite, indicative pricing, and transaction structure. Although nothing is final until the ink is on the paper, we regard this as close to a done deal. For Smart Eye, securing a three-year bond of this size would effectively remove the remaining uncertainty around the company’s funding situation ahead of EU GSR and before reaching free cash flow positivity.

Our current estimates imply that Smart Eye will have utilised roughly SEK200m of its currently existing credit facilities by the time it reaches FCF breakeven in Q3 2026, with around SEK50m of liquidity still available. Even if the bond were placed at SEK300m with no additional SEK300m under the proposed framework, this would allow the company to repay its currently utilised SEK150m facility and still retain approximately SEK150m in available liquidity as it approaches breakeven. To illustrate the robustness of the buffer, even if Smart Eye were to maintain its Q3 free cash flow level of SEK-37m (which we view as extremely unlikely given current operational momentum and the mandatory GSR implementation in July 2026), the SEK300m bond would extend the company’s liquidity runway into mid-Q1 2027. In our view, this removes the concern investors have had regarding funding.

As the terms of the bond are not yet known, we do not adjust our estimates at this stage. However, we expect conditions that are better than Smart Eye’s current loan structure, which carries an effective interest cost of roughly 1% per month plus an additional 1.5% annual utilisation fee, as well as a sign-up fee of approximately 5%. The proposed three-year tenor already represents a clear improvement versus existing facilities expiring in 2026.
