It's a difficult call if you have no faith in FG. As a scientist by training, I appreciate their innovative approach. That doesn't mean this is 100% certain to work. Investors take risk all the time, which is part of the thrill.

I try to wait until the peak, its impossible to time exactly. Don't sell too early - know the value of the business. Never been much of a trader....

Who knows about the status of tests? We'll just have to wait. I'm happy to do so. FG might be vague and rather non-committal, but I trust him.

We need solid results in the next Rns. Secrecy might be more relevant for the quantum computing applications. I think that patents, exceptional results followed by interest from the big miners could blow this up. £1 per share could be achieved this year, if everything falls into place. Markets do always look to the future and confidence in Qbt will be key to realising value potential in the short/medium term.

20p would be disappointing for this share - even in today's rubbish times. The lower bitcoin goes, the less that miners make in profit. The older tech literally becomes worthless. Some big miners can't make money atm, they are at risk of insolvency if btc prices remain low as inflation rises to record levels. Qbt will rescue the fortunes of a trillion £ industry if they can deliver.

Part of the patent process is the dreaded IP search. It can take many months to establish that a patent is legally watertight. They don't want to announce that they have this fantastic tech and then find out it's not patentable. This stuff is complex, I applaud them for using the very best science (and AI!) to smash boundaries.

FG does state that we will have results in the next few months and this will determine the value of our approach. We'll have to wait for the next update. The share price is low because the market doesn't know either.

They don't have to release info until they are sure. We'll know soon what has happened on the mining front. I hope for exceptional news too...

Live experimental testing is online on the Btc network. That's what I assumed. Experimental is simply making observations as you go. Experimental cooking is still real cooking that somebody eats.... Not me though.

I think that we may offer far more value than Argo. It's difficult to predict where the price will go. Cypto is in a bad place, but things should pick up. Uk economy has always resembled something flacid and impotent. People claim to make much more money investing in US stocks. Qbt will be one of those rare British success stories - I hope.

I think that you misread my post. I said that a vague rns would be bad news.

I don't think that the share price can get much lower. It's on the floor with no potential priced in. I understand the frustration, another vague update would be worse than nothing. They need to secure the second patent (at least) and release the mining results. It will take a while, end of July is probable.

A vicious cycle, I mean...

I read recently that the btc crash in 2017 was probably caused by one person selling a large quantity of bitcoin - a large bitcoin whale. The price volatility is caused by the actions of both miners and investors. When miners sell more bitcoin to cover their mining costs (due to an enegy crisis), it depresses the bitcoin price. Many investors who bought high then head for the door. This lowers the bitcoin price further as the miners sell more to cover costs. The cycle continues.... It's a viscous cycle.

The price of bitcoin will stabilize at some point. The lower the price, the more that investors will be tempted to buy back. Qbt offers a silver bullet that will end the hour by hour volatility that puts alot of people off. When money is tight, people take less risk with their investments. We just need positive results and all will be fine.

Who is RKB? Never heard of him... Knowledge can only get you so far as there are many unknowables at this stage. Unless, he works with FG?

Aren't we waiting for news, to sell now is risky either way. BTC will stabilise, unless you think that we'll see a major collapse.

If this fails then the universe is acting against my best efforts. I've had a run of bad luck, the economy isn't helping nor is Putin. I think that Qbt can make Btc profitable to mine regardless of the price of electricity and BTC price, it should help to tame the volatility as well. Here's hoping, sometimes you need luck above all else - people talk about 'research' and 'insight' but this is not a deterministic process rather more chaotic.

I think it is unlikely that everything will collapse... We are having a downturn, that's all. The tech that qbt offers will save bitcoin longterm and many other PoW currencies. Just an opinion, surely chaos theory can't ruin all my investments.

Do what you think is best. Vague statements are disappointing and everyone hopes for some proper meat on the bone. This work is leading edge and very hard. Mission statements will change as they understand more about what's possible. That's how science works, it evolves beyond your best guessing and predictions sometimes. Lets see some mining results that should give a clear signal for the future value here.
