Tony, you have been the voice of positivity for at least 6 months , maybe longer and guess what, the SP has continued to decline. If any investor brought in only six months ago you would be under water, with no real sign of improvement or reason to accept that the future is rosy!
Just ask yourself this, what percentage of the 200M plus meter market have we captured in India? Same question in the UK and the same question in all the other markets that we are allegedly associated with, bearing in mind we are a global leader!!!!
What is the number of total units sold and associated revenue and what is the number of units activated and providing annual licence income?
I think you will find that the total income does not cover the expenditure, therefore we are still making a loss after all these years, despite JC's slant on the situation. All of this is at the expense of shareholders and investors.

Tony, I think it is high time that you do some research and trawl through some old RNS's and see what has been said and promised in the past. You may find that the penny drops and see where CB and like minded people are coming from, that includes me!
Once enlightened, please come back and disscuss the historical facts.

I seem to remember him saying that there was no money to be had in the UK smart meter arena, not enough margin to make it viable for CC.
I also remember that JC saying that the acquisition of Connode would create a revenue string that would virtually pay for itself, so we spent £12M for a company that didn't deliver what JC said it would in terms of income, JOKE!!!

This share needs a 50 bagger for me to break even, yes my fault I know (partially), but it does show what a badly run company looks like. The SP graph tells the truth. It has not made a profit over many years and it won't be any different this year. Re-occuring revenue, where is it? if we had sold as many meters as JC claims and had received the associated annual income we would be making money, smoke , mirrors and lies, good title for a sitcom!!!!!!

Patience is only the key if we have the treasure, who knows!!!!!!

Personally I still think ARA will buy AEX, the Zubs are just dipping their toes in the water and depending how this goes, will shape their relationship with Tanzania in the future. The are after all a big company with plans for expansion, while AEX is a small fish.
I do wish they would buy the lot now (10p) but that would be a big risk for them to take .Only time will tell, I just hope that the senior members of this board live to tell the tale.

Crusty, Sadly shareholders have the ability to stop this allocation of shares, you may note that there has in the past been a resolution that allows the BOD to issue shares as they see fit, I always vote against this and will continue to do so. They should not be able to award themselves such warrants without shareholder approval.

I would really like to know if the Tanz Govt have paid AEX what we were due and to know if the Tax issue/rebate has been resolved. It all seems to have gone quiet on that front.

Edgar, I really don't know what the fuss is about, nothing has changed for solo/scir since the original farmout, it's just further down the road than originally intended. Solo were privvy to the details long before shareholders. Yes they should have been updated prior to the RNS but as I said it's still the same deal.

I don't think that there is no appetite, what would it achieve in terms of action by Tanz govt? not a lot imho.

Tonyj, the fact is that after all these years and all the promises, this company is not, and never has made a profit. It has blown miilions of investors money, diluted the hell out of everyone and consistently lied about profitability. It's all been pie in the sky, yes it's AIM and yes it's risky and many including me have fallen for the stories told by JC. Yes it's my fault for investing but I still hold JC accountable to all of us shareholders. If we don't challenge the status quo, who will?

Tanzania is their own worst enemy, they lose business due to politics, red tape and inability to get things done. Companies fall by the wayside and others just don't risk doing business in the country. The future is in their hands but they need to step up!
Every time something is delayed it is a missed opportunity and kicks the can further down the line, it must be costing them and hurting the people of Tanzania.

Cereus, they don't need to buy, they have more options than they can afford, these can be brought at a later date before the expiry. There could also be circumstances where they are unable to buy, we just don't know.
