Ben Richardson, CEO at SulNOx, confident they can cost-effectively decarbonise commercial shipping. Watch the video here.
Tax purposes Partridge. They need a complete sale of SOU to take advantage of AIM capital gains tax concessions. Selling part of the company does not qualify.
Makes no odds to most of us as they are probably in ISA anyway but it will to JP and crew
GLA
NUOG and C4 have no money to talk of so purchase of Sidi would have to be shares based. Everyone ends up with allocation based on SOU holding and everyone get half of bugger all, but let's be honest atm its worth half of bugger all anyway (Trellis feel free to point out how much we paid for it) Sunk costs!
GLA
JTF I am sure you are right. I can see western morocco assets going into C4 and NUOG looks like the vehicle for that......SO it means they do have a deal for Eastern assets and your 'going long' theory is blown out of the water.
I just hope its a good deal for all shareholders.
I don't mind retaining an interest in Sidi, it always looked like a good prospect, wouldn't want to give it away for peanuts ;o)
Our lord JP owes nothing to the NUOG shareholders, they have been shafted but that's business, I wouldn't want JP over paying for what is a shell at the end of the day.
GLA
Trellis I think Usernames are restricted to 15 characters, besides it would take him 10 minutes to log on with a username like that ;o)
GLA
JTF I've seen the Partridge......HE'S BEHIND YOU!!!!
In the panto that is now SOU I assume our lord JP is to be considered the bad guy? Well those that sold their golden tickets for magic beans might be in for a nasty surprise!
GLA
TP I don't think Crude was wheeled out at the gherkin, I believe it was the shard. I believe he gave up his ticket to the gherkin so that others could attend.
GLA
Will do JTF. In fact if we don't have LE I may have to cancel Xmas in the seaton household. You got any Spam turkey recipes just in case?
GLA
Thanks for sharing Mahatma. James (our lord JP) will need to get his skates on really. EGM takes a minimum of two weeks notice so window is closing for deal to be finalised by end of Dec. Could be a good Xmas!
Exciting times!
GLA
JTF are you sure you haven't filtered yourself? most other posters have (not me)
GLA
Presumably there will need to be an EGM to vote on any offer so even if an offer was announced tomorrow you are still looking at a further period administrative actions before completion (but at least the SP would start to reflect the value of the deal)
Someone mentioned counter-offers, I think the process our lord JP outlined with SPA agreed before RNS means that once the RNS lands with a recommendation to SH that's it. Its that deal or no deal. (where have we heard that recently?)
GLA not long to wait now!
I took it to mean, marketing finalised well before year end and SPA agreed before year end and RNS'd by year end. Hard to believe much would be gained by an overly long marketing period, there aren't that many potential buyers!
GLA
At what price SO? Its not showing in the trades ?
GLA
Welcome Gekko, strange you should miss Shaungreen considering you only joined the group yesterday? It's almost as if you had been here before.
I don't mean to come across as laughing at the level of N4$ average it is more the fact that he claims to have more than one average. I only have one average which I won't share with you, suffice to say it is well below either of N4$'s averages.
GLA
C4 shareholders Jay Bhattacherjee and Andrew Dennan have been appointed non-executive chair elect and non-executive director, respectively.
Very interesting. Wonder what assets they will acquire? Could this be part of JJ's cunning plan to enable a tax efficient whole company sale? Maybe a share swop by way of payment to SOU holders for assets not sold at Tendrara?
GLA
Even if JP delivers £1 a share then N4$ won't have much profit, don't forget his average is 95p!
For N4$ £1 'Just won't cut it!'
£1.25 maybe?
GLA
I agree JTF, and unless JP delivers here there aren't likely to be too many takers when C4 is listed!
GLA
Trellis you are a hard audience!
GLA
'I admit there is a savage humour to his posts, bordering on slanderous but that is the kind of person he is, I'm afraid'
Mancave the words humour and bordering are redundant in your above observation ;o)
GLA
As seen today, passions can run high and many on here blame our lord JP. HOWEVER if he delivered us an LE of £1 (mentioned here Sunday night, not sure who by) would all be forgiven and his reputation repaired?
GLA
He's the Steve Bray of SevenOaks. Stands outside the Sou offices with a megaphone shouting 'Stop Parsons!'
Lol top bants today!
