So today I thought that I’d spend some time going back through the old GCM RNS’s as well as lots of the Bangladesh press and research just to remind myself of the what’s gone on in the past and where we stand now!
I know that some invested here have like myself, been here for many many years and today reminded my why…
In reality, GCM have actually done a massive amount of work and achieved a huge amount…. This project and all the various parts that all now (partly because of the state of the country) seem to be falling in to place is absolutely massive and as we know the money involved is mind boggling!!
Who knows how this will all pan out, but with the work already done, the companies that GCM have involved in the project with them, the energy crisis, the FX crisis, etc, etc, and more and more pressure being put on Hasina to come up with some big quick wins and answers for the country moving forward, I have once again satisfied myself why I’m here with the investment that I have!!
It’s good to see the volume increasing again today, and like others have already said, hopefully this really is now the sign that the subscription stock is finally done!! 🙄
So, with the company now well financed for the foreseeable future, new NED’s in place, PowerChina and others all on board, and most importantly the Energy Minister Nasrul Hamid discussing / presenting / proposing not only Phulbari open pit mining but other coal mines of Bangladesh to be mined it’s time to sit back, relax and watch the last parts of the jigsaw being put together!
GL all and like Gary Lye said at the AGM, let’s hope at the next AGM we will be drinking champagne not coffee lol
