So, BnC in other words it will probably stay in it's daily cycle of up or down 1p. It might go up to 33p. It might fall down to the mid-20s. But if it breaks the 33p mark and the 36.7p mark it could be -whoosh - up to 47p.

As much I as rib you, without TA (or the belief in TA at all), I totally concur, as hitting the 33p mark would probably get us noticed by all the daytraders again (as I was talking about week), the board will be filled with new names and hype artists, and if that were enough to get us up to 36.7 then - yes - there be enough hysteria and BS flying around to get us into the 40s for day or so I can't see any above 42p before we fall back down again. If we do see 47p anytime before some kind of formal offer or major, major news announcement then I will glad doff my cap to you.

I can feel something bubbling up we don't normally sustain the 30p level for no good reason.

OreInspiring, before Grandmother Quady comes shuffling out to call us all climate change deniers, I have to put on record that I can see that it undeniably real. And it seems to be speeding up.

It is the West's self-flagellating response to it while the rest of the globe goes full steam ahead, laughing at us, that i have an issue with.

A similar issue - plastic in the oceans. Who can argue the sheer horror of that?

But then we take our zero-tolerance of all of this (as exemplified by a constantly hysterical Quady) and apply it to the local activists in Ecuador who are horrified by Solgolds mining plans for their local environment.

We were all outraged on here when they tried to slow us down via the courts, remember?

The planet has been warming all through the holocene period, and homo sapiens have thrived.

Let's swap the global warming label for climate change, which is making itself pretty evident now. Humans will always adapt and survive. The real "test" is for the West. Do we tax ourselves, limit ourselves, restrict ourselves, chain ourselves, berate ourselves, flagellate ourselves and tear ourselves apart over climate change while China builds hundreds and hundreds of new coal power stations and India begins a century of pollution on an enormous scale, both without a hint of remorse? Nothing is going to stop China and India from emitting unprecedented levels of CO2 in the next few decades. And little Greta has nothing - absolutely nothing - to say about that. In the West it's a middle class activism of choice. Look at those white posh loons currently blocking the M25. The whole subject has been polarised - between the massive polluters of China and India, just out of the starting blocks, and the trendy climate change crowd in the West. the test has already been failed. In an age of Zoom and online conferences, you will note that it's the environmentalists and climate change activists who simple MUST fly to Glasgow for COP26. No restrictions of travelling for them. i daresay Glasgow airport will never have seen so many private jets.

It's a worthy cause, but it's long since been ruined by these people already. Climate change is no longer a problem, it is an industry, a career path, a moral high horse. a social justice platform - these people don't care, they just want to be seen to care.

So whatever is going to happen, will happen. Mother Earth will respond in due course and give us the kicking we deserve. But as China burns more and more and more coal, forgive me if i don't give a tinkers cuss what a little Swedish girl says about how I live my life.

Quady, where on earth did the lecture about genders come from. I attacked no one on that score, and in fact mentioned one gender that is currently being demonised (men). It didn't imply criticism or judgement of any other gender. Far from it.

That the West - riven with weakness, wokeness, and still determined to maximise the self-harm that China's little gift from Wuhan has encouraged us to inflict upon ourselves this past 18 months - is in terminal decline, I have sadly no doubt. Our debt alone makes us a house of cards, and perhaps that's all we really have been since Nixon dumped the Bretton Woods agreement back in 1971 - but at least we had a chance of holding things together. i don't think it's just a sign of getting old that I genuinely feel the western world is literally falling apart in front of me.

The coming world, dominated by China, that the snowflakes inherit will be a very different one to the happy like-button rainbow flagged socialist utopia they seem to be expecting through the prism of their smartphones. I'll lie to see some of it, but hopefully from the security of a quiet retirement. For the first time in my life, I don't want to be 18 again - not in a world of masks and lockdowns and cancel culture and debt and the utter demonisation of straight white men and boys, all of it exacerbated by the ceaseless shrieking of the 24/7 online hive mind where every road leads to mental illness. We haven't a hope against the Chinese. When the time comes - a time of their choosing as you say - they will march straight through us.

Meantime though, as a Solg investor, I wouldn't mind them chucking some of that lovely, lovely Belt and Road money at us.

On a rare serious note, I think a return to the 37p level is on the cards. How long that lasts I don't know, but the excitement it generates is usually enough to proper us to 42p for a day or so. If you've been stuck underwater in this share, you might want to consider what kind of opportunity this presents - not in long term investment strategy but in short term tactics, because one thing is for sure, as soon as we are up there all the talk will return to Elliot Waves and "booom!" and "next resistance at 50p" and "the charts show the path is clear to 132p". By this time the board will be crowded with posters you've never seen before, all frothing at the bit and getting greedy and congratulating each other on finding SOLG, as well as the old timers all talking about holiday homes and boats again. And yes, the old crayons will be out, humbly accepting all the gushing praise and gratitude.

What happens after that point, I can't say, because it's never gone beyond that point. We normally soon level back to 36p for a while then gradually sink towards 19p. The new posters disappear, everyone denies making predictions about 50p and 132p, and the old crayons are put back in their box.

You can either see it as a disappointment or an opportunity. I've lived through it 5 times (I think) so far with SOLG, so I know my own thoughts. Of course, one bright morning an offer is going to come through and you don't want to be out when that happens... and it's very hard to resist the crazy optimism that grips this board above 37p. There ain't no party like a Solgold party. Just beware the morning after.

How do my little apple crumbles, glad you's is all happy with the SP back up at 30p just as I predicted a week or so ago (although the post may have got lost in the post).

A few thoughts on the unique value of the copper we is all sitting on with SOLG as we grip onto our little bundle of shares:

1) Copper has played a central role in human civilisation for thousands of years. Archimedes praised it as "That useful, coppery coloured hard stuff".

2) Copper was the material of choice for ancient Chinese love eggs, though they were wont to turn green after a few nights, depending on the concubine.

3) Copper was the favourite metal of Oscar Wilde. He spoke about it often during his trial for sodomy. Lord Alfred Douglas was said to be fond of it too.

4) If all the copper in the world were turned into a standard width plumbing pipe, no one would be in the least bit surprised.

5) Our "copper" coins in the UK are actually not made of copper at all any more, but (since 1984) consist of a sliver of titanium covered with brown Airfix paint.

6) Bitcoins are often mined in the very same geological areas that are rich in copper, like Ecuador, Australia and Falkirk.

7) It takes approximately 7 tonnes of copper to make a single Tesla Model X (and that is not including the copper arthritis bangle worn by the bald old man driving it).

8) The chemical symbol for copper is Cu. This is short for Cummings, after Dominic Cummings, who claims to have invented it.

9) Copper is an excellent conductor, which is why it is often used to get orchestras to play in time.

10) Copper is your friend. Which is handy, as you'll need at least one friend when you want to bore the life out of someone in your local Wetherspoons about the SOLG share price, which is my forte.

You're right - BnCs mask does slip on occasion when he's snapping back at me, and what's underneath isn't pretty. It's not that he's a bad lad - I know he's not - or not well intentioned. Not at all. I've just never fallen for his "hail fellow well met" act.

And, it is a fact that when he vanishes for days or weeks, all I have to do is wait for SOLG to jump 3p or more in a day to click on this board see him suddenly pop back up again claiming his little coloured crayons predicted it. this has literally been going on for years, and I find it as harmless as I find it amusing - and i think everyone notices it now that I've drawn attention to it.

That he is so thin-skinned about it is disappointing - imitation is the sincerest form of flattery is it not? And the board would be poorer without him. But I think he's still - yes still - in shock at how the board has changed from the heady days of the 5p to 25p climb (the rising tide that lifted all boats) when people literally queued up on here to thank him for his advice and insight and his Elliot Wave theory. Like Robert Morley as the Emperor of China in "Ghengis Khan", he was once feted and indulged and comfortable and felt the world and the stars revolved around him: now he sees the Mongols pouring through the gates into his beloved board. There may still be a few old Elliot Wave believers, sitting like Linus from Peanuts in the pumpkin patch waiting for the Great Pumpkin, but it's not like the old days. And like a end of the pier act in the days of television, the old routine doesn't really work anymore. When the mask slips we see that the jolly clown isn't smiling at all under there.

As for the others, their abuse is water off a ducks back to me. I was right about St Nick. I was right about the dreadful long term problems with our entanglement with Cornerstone. And my warnings about dilution have proved far more prescient than promises of Elliot Waves and imminent takeovers. they don't hate me - they hate inconvenient truths.

I'm still here because this share is a good investment short term for trading, and long term - well I don't intend to simply hold forever like some on here, but if the timing is right one bright morning it will turn into a golden ticket, and i wish all well in their strategies.

I do miss some of the normal voices that used to be on here - amidst the hardcore old timers with their boats and their 1.5p average that somehow never increased, amidst the insane and demoralising voices of doom (jmiley anyone? that guy really got to me eventually), amidst the hopeful but trapped newcomers that regularly get locked in at 39p every timer we spike - but I do miss just normal investors who didn't think any dissenting voice was a troll or a bot or a paid deramper. Good guys like DG1Investor

Me old crayons are specifically predicting a share price of around 29.4p. Right now. And no, I don't just pop back on this board when the share price rises just to say I predicted it with me old charts and me crayons - though do feel free to thank me. I's ever so humble I am. Next prediction from me old TA For Dummies textbook - this could go up or down from here, I'm certain of it I am. Now, where did I put my Worzels CD, I fancies some modern music I do...
