No 14p today for you my lad.

I don't know how anyone can put a negative spin on this seeing in what dire straits we were just a few days ago.

Someone - I think I know who - told us in no uncertain terms that we needed a merger before a sale. Heads banged together. Job done. The mudging and the fudging is over, I don't expect to hear a cheep out of anyone about "going into production". The endgame is finally here.

Bozi we were drifting towards the buffers with no money in the bank, with the SP way too low to do any kind of decent fundraise, with NOBODY believing the BoD story about going into production (except Quady).

SOLG, in it's present and past form had reached the end of the line.

This whole mess with Cornerstone was the original sin that has hampered us for years.

Things had to change.

Now it's clear - we are up for sale (or at least Cascabel will be soon).

A stroke of genious by the BoD or just painted themselves into this corner by not being very good? Doesn't matter.

We were out of time and out of runway mate.

Get everything in order for a sale and put Cascabel proudly in the shop window.

I'm sure SOLG will go on in some form after that as what it should be - an explorer, discovering proving up and selling on.

A I said last night, bid day ahead - although I wasn't expecting *this*.

Irwin clearly thinks it's bona fide, significant and hence "great news" in his words.

I'd expect a further 2p rise tomorrow without an RNS taking us to a 19p base camp for the coming ascent back into the 20s when some kind of news does land.

If so, this SP way down here at 17p is like a coiled spring waiting to... what's the word... spring back into the 20s.

Even news of a placing at 20p would be fantastic at this stage.

Just got a feeling tomorrow will have a bit of "whoosh" to it.

I think you've summed me up very well - I know I moan and grumble down the years, but the present SP is ridiculous and I am bullish beyond belief tonight.

As for having a pint with me, I am.often to be found propping up the bar in the Crystal Palace Glasgow, knocking back the ciders. For all the roller coaster moments, I do believe that Solgs best days lie ahead and that no one should ever sell this share at a loss.

Precisely the kind of company who think in terms of decades.

This SP simply does not belong down here in the teens. We've just had a reminder of that, and I hope it's a catalyst both for buyers returning and for other interested parties to wake up and start showing showing their hands very soon.

Cast your minds back hen this fell to under 12p in March 2020 due to the Covid panic.

it looked like the end of the world and the end of Solg.

Panic burns itself out. We were back in the 20s in no time, and heading up to 40p soon after that.

No news is always bad news for Solg, but what is always good news is a jump in the share price which attracts all the buyers and TA experts and everyone else who suddenly remembers what a massive Tier 1 resource we have.

Of course funding is a worry, but something will turn up. This share has always turned on a dime in the past and today I think it just did again.

Onwards and upwards guys.

Tomorrow may see a buying frenzy.

No Bozi but it's a glimmer of good news when we are hideously undervalued and oversold.

Quady some of us believe we can succeed DESPITE of your BoD.

They might be worthless, but the resource is not.

Going to a very strong close - this could well go mental tomorrow.
