actually combine to make us a very attractive takeover target for any company sitting on billions of dollars?

Much of the recent fall has been predicated on very low volume. Beyond a bid, I'm hoping that the BoD (of whom I am not a fan) have the wherewithal to earn their bloody salaries and pull something out of the bag soon.

As for a possible bid, a think a few long termers now need to taper their expectations. We are in too much of a fix now to expect top dollar, and playing the game wrong comes at a price. I wasn't a fan of Nick but he knew what he wanted and knew what he was doing, but now all is drift and inertia.

From here, we should be grateful to get anything in the 50p - 70p range.

What has happened to this board? All the adults have left the room.

As I long predicted, with the passing of the PFS and the non-appearance of a takeover bid this summer - and of course the prospect of Quady's scenario where we "go into production" spooking everyone - it was obvious as soon as the last fund raise failed that we were headed for the doldrums. The doldrums where we have been many times before. They are a quiet place of low volume and despair, where our resident TA experts have hee-haw to say. No one admits to a "cheeky top up " like they do at 38p, no one talks about boats.

On very, very low volume we have fallen below the 19p level that SOLG tends to sulk at. Those that believe in this share have the opportunity to buy in under 17p. Under 17p.... apart from the darkest days of Covid, that hasn't been possible since 2016.

So do you believe in this company or not? I don't rate the board, I don't rate current and recent decisions. But I know what a huge resource we are sitting on, and even if the big boys manage to grab this at 45p, it's still a massive upside from here.

With all the gloom, and the gloating from the sidelines, the fake investors and the doom-mongers screeching and the faint of heart squealing and giving in, I feel that we may be reaching that "exasperation point" when small investors throw in the towel, squeezed and frightened to the point where they've lost all faith.

I didn't lose faith when we were at 12p due to the Covid panic. I knew it was a panic, all blown out of proportion. Now we are plummeting on the basis of less than 1 million shares traded, and I'm not losing faith this time either.

i have been scathing of the BoD, but the resources of SOLG are beyond even their wit to destroy or devalue. i won't say it is merely darkest before dawn, because I don't know when that dawn will come, only that it will come.

Remember where you are - invested in one of the biggest, newest, most exciting Tier 1 gold and copper assets in the entire world.
