Shares held in treasury are a loaded gun to your head.

As and when they feel like raising money they can flood them onto the market and the dilution destroys the share price for all.

I didn’t do it this time, though did have a limit sell in with II; it never made the 224.3p. I’ll take the divi, maybe buy some more SREI in my SIPP and some LGEN in my ISA.

They have lost money, full stop. They were never going to give a downbeat presentation, but they made a loss.

The divi is up by a paltry 1.5%, and the boast is solvency is up. Anything over 100% is a waste, it is capital not earning income.

I did it last year, and for the final.

I’ve started accumulating again, 5k last week and by the end of the next 4 trading weeks hopefully another 10k shares. I will sell once I have 20p profit. If that doesn’t happen then I will take the div.

This is a steady share to do this with, but ultimately it’s a keeper for retirement.
