Hey K
Not nit-picking but I think we are at $97 per tonne so nearly 2m
Totally agree re his shares as collateral but don't we need off-take for conditions for this finance to kick in?
Also, I'm sure Russell intends to increase his own holding as soon as he can
Lots of bumps in the road but I'm still holding strong
Kat
We've disagreed on many points but couldn't agree more
Thanks Kat
Korriban
I couldn't agree more
This is really disappointing and assume there's an issue with the Off Take which I'm sure is being dealt with, but I'm certainly holding into 2024 and beyond
For me, it's really simple, it has come too far to just fail now, we might need more funds but I'll bet my bottom dollar there's plenty ready to buy on a raise if needed especially at these prices, me included
Database
Like any world issue, its never simple and normally comes down to picking a side
I think it's a shame this has put Russia and the West back many years and to use past invasions as one of the reasons isn't sensible, the whole of Europe wouldn't touch Germany if that were the case, but Germany, through becoming a valued member of Europe now holds great regard while been the most powerful country in Europe. (In my opinion) Russia could have followed suit after the Cold War but didn't.
No excuse for the persecution of anyone just trying to live their life but I think Russia should look at themselves before invading others for this reason
Spikey
All very relevant points and I'm sure many invested and non-invested here to similar
However, most don't feel the need to throw negativity at others that see things differently and some of you even seem to bask in the fact people are down and even said they hope EUA fails so they are right and not giving a dame how that might effect those invested if it did.
I was in AMGO at around 7p sold at around 17p as at that point thought the task to turn it around was too great. Once sold I didn't go back and bask and bash it. Some there lost 10.s thousands
Maybe the negheads should think more about how EUA has affected people rather than hope it fails
That would be the human thing to do
And yes, rampers who solely ramp for personal gain are as bad
Let it be
I really don't feel the need to explain myself to you or any of your other monikers
The only thing I'll say is-I looked at this group after I initially invested and invested more after the last AGM
I often speak up as I don't need others telling me what not to invest in, I'm a grown-ass man as most LTH are
We wish you would Let it be
A quick joke to lighten the mood

I'd say most if not all entities invested pre-war sold on the run-up or after the invasion, many at a loss I'd expect. Optics and return would have been the driving force. It's most likely just us monkeys that held and I'd say most of us would have loved to of sold in the 30-40's but that is the past
What actually matters now is the future and whether or not EUA will eventually get this over the line, hopefully, most have managed to average down and EUA will get a sensible deal done and we (the actual invested) can walk away with a few quid in our pockets.

I certainly can't see anything explaining the differance but this is good
Level 1, Level 2 and Level 3 assets. Level 1 assets are those that are liquid and easy to value based on publicly quoted market prices. Level 2 assets are harder to value and can only partially be taken from quoted market prices but they can be reasonably extrapolated based on quoted market prices. Level 3 assets are difficult to value. Their value tends to be internal models-based as there is no observable market for them.

My point was that MONDI had originally called off the deal as wasn't happy with the way they were being treated re timelines
So you don't just have to bend over and take it
Again, I don't think we'll get full value but lets see what happens
Totally agree MAB
I used Mondi a while back when fr something was just posting links of comapnies that have walked away from Russia basically leaving their assetts and staff to get a quick exit which were been snapped up by Putins chaps and labeled as bad companies.
We aren't going to get full value but Mondi shows you can certainly walk away with some value
And que the- there is no value here, they don't own the ground, they'll be wound up before they sell, BoD are just taking big fat wages etc etc etc god it's boring
GLA Bring on the sale and EUA-2 hopefully ;^)
I did post this months ago but it was obvioulsy shot down by the negheads lol

Looks like a company leaving Russia doesn't just need to hand everything over :)

Not been on here much as rather spend my time on a EUA investment board so appoligies if this has been posted already
Just thought this was really positive
On 17 September 2023 Mondi plc (“Mondi”) announced the agreement to sell its last remaining facility in Russia, Joint Stock Company Mondi Syktyvkar, together with two affiliated entities (together “Mondi Syktyvkar”) to Sezar Invest LLC (“Sezar Invest”) for a total cash consideration of RUB 80 billion.
Mondi is pleased to confirm closing has been accelerated and the sale has now completed. Mondi has therefore concluded its exit from Russia.
Mondi has received RUB 57 billion into its London bank account and it is in possession of a letter of credit for the final RUB 23 billion, which will be paid in two equal instalments in each of November and December 2023.
It is intended that the net proceeds from the sale of all Mondi’s Russian assets will be distributed to Mondi shareholders in a timely manner once the final instalments of the consideration in respect of Mondi Syktyvkar have been received.
