I assume the last drawback the other month was due to high covid rates in the Far East hopefully vaccines are being given out at a faster rate now. Still a excellent medium term hold. :-).

Hi Jayne, Yes I have been following the company and have now bought at what I feel is a safe ish sp. have a good sleep. :-). Still working on selling my funds so I can then move to AJ Bell.

If the ap drops 20% I will be filling my boots:-).

Any views on a future merger or takeover by a stateside company?

Above my own opinion not a recommendation. Bought 813 @ 549. Seems a good one to hold for awhile.

It’s becouse the sp is being shorted by a few investment companies it will go back up when they decide they can make a decent % out of it.

It’s good to talk to you again. :-). Been on other chats to keep up with what’s going on. I cannot believe the way most people are with the spiteful comments, so I make it a quick look.
This is the best and most informative chat I have come across. If we ever get the sort of rudeness that are on other sites I suggest we ban them ,or completely ignore. Still awaiting the next drop. :-(.

I remember awhile back Unilever did say they would be increasing the products they have to cover any inflation.

To my mind the only good thing about inflation is it brings down the government’s debt.
No good for anyone else.

Now the sp should start an upward trend in my view. The FT might think of doing more digging before making outlandish statements. :-)

I had a split in prudential awhile ago which split into pru and M&G made money on both but pru was far better profit M&G went up a bit then a bit down and loitered. With gsk I firmly believe the consumer side will do better in the short to medium term as the vaccine side will have more costs with r&d.

When a share goes up on low volume what does that say to you?

Think it’s time for me to buy. I haven’t been following the sp at all over the last few months so was a bit surprised hopefully the board will change a bit. Although I’m sure whoever is moved on will still have made millions out of the company. If the saps weak sharks may be circling. :-).

For those who maybe interested. Barclays next result 21 October. Lloyds next 28 October. I have shares in both. Sp in both may get a boost. :-) still awaiting a good drop in Dark.

With all the M&As that have been going on I would expect the next results to be quite good ,also if thier is a rate rise that should shift the sp up. :-). Barclays and other bank stocks should do very well over the next year.

Added to Lloyds and Barclays this morning will see if there is another drop then I will add to dark. :-)
