Yes it is a tracker and follows the Bloomberg Barclay adjustable . Volex should do well today. I think:-).

Thanks for the reply Jayne, The one thing I’m finding quite difficult is my inflation linked bonds seems whichever way you jump it’s risky . Hold and interest rates move up sending the bonds down or sell and miss inflation. Think it’s about what the gov do regarding rates. Any views welcome.

Many thanks JayneC , now that I’ve given Bestinvest a bit of rant, I will see how they behave over the next week or so. When I change my broker I will use AJBell. Must get up to Liverpool next spring also Chester zoo. Yes I sold a bit early but made a bit, also have shares left. :-). Afterthought, I will sell my funds and shares beforehand as long as I’m in profit ,as otherwise they take ages with transfers and try hitting you with costs

I am currently with Bestinvest but recently I have had to deal though Tinley which bought bestinvest awhile ago . When the company was just bestinvest it was excellent but now I don’t even get though to the dealing room . Which I find a bit of a joke. Can anybody recommend a good broker to use also low fees. Bear trap as I know is having shares that have gone down a good bit and you cannot afford to take the loss and then the share price keeps falling. So you are trapped in the share. I don’t have anyusa shares but as we all know when the us sneezes we all catch the cold. No I wasn’t referring to dark but the overall market. I’ve been in the situation where my funds dropped 20 grand and had to wait years to get back into profit as I didn’t se the last major correction. Hope that explains a bit. :-)

Just bought 505 . Sp should go up between now and results. I’m starting to offload some of my shares that are in profit as I don’t want to get caught in a bear trap as Clair was eluding to. Then await the big correction which may or may not happen depending on the USA market

Friday last looked like a good buy signal to me . We shall see how the sp goes by the end of today. Hopefully it will drop a wee bit.

It’s all about the interest rates. When the rates start going up so will the banking shares. That’s why Lloyds are recommended by brokers becouse they are the biggest mortgage lenders . The interest rates have been low for a long time and that’s about to change as is inflation. :-).
