Brilliant, well said eastern. :-) personally I think it’s now safe to go over the fence and wait for the grass to grow before having a very good lunch.

Bought half of what I wanted this am as a bit of a hedge will now only buy if the sp goes back to 780 over the next few weeks. :-) Still wondering when the correction will happen so I’m now holding more cash. I am thinking of selling most of my holdings over the next few weeks and having cash at the ready.Any views welcome.

ML won’t get extradited the money god has stopped the law in its tracks. Buying am.

Better to buy after it goes ex div as there should be a drop.

The markets in the US and Asia will have a big influence on the market here tomorrow so I’m still on the fence awaiting a further drop. Might buy late afternoon we shall see.:-)

Looking at the charts and sentiment towards banks now I think the sp may hit 47 by Friday.

I’m looking at 780 to buy back in if it doesn’t happen I will await ML news which will effect the sp not that it’s warranted.

Another 2% drop form now and I will be fairly happy to buy .

Claire I agree with you . I would like to hear the views of max doom, JayneC, and HKK. Already know Charles views. As a side line for a year buy and hold banks. Just my view which isn’t worth a pinch of salt.

The time of the banking sector will soon be upon us as the interest rates will start to climb. Lloyds, Barclays, best bet in my view. HSBC to a lesser extent. :-) very strong buy.

Agreed. It will go up in the long term. I’m now investing in bank stocks as soon as the interest rates start moving up so will bank shares. Not my view, it will happen. :-).

Claire seems quite good to my mind . Certainly don’t get any childish rants from her just common sense. :-).

Hi Claire , it’s good to here your views. I got out but still made a tidy profit although the sp kept on going up. Now it’s dropping back after the euphoria has settled . The sp is saying to itself what am I doing up here ! Anyway I shall wait and see if the sp does the same again Monday . Feel a bit safer buying S4 at the moment which I will do Monday. Tend not to buy/sell on Friday as new news
Can happen over the weekend. 850 sounds comfortable to me.

I will be buying back in Monday a.m. . Low amount of trades today, so that’s a positive.

Another 5% drop would be good.

Personally I think most investors may tend to disagree. :-).

Having had a further look at the company I have decided to add . Looks good to me.:-)
