I’m going to wait until the feds decision on rates first. Because if the rate goes up it may pull the markets back a bit . Which may or may not effect dark. Choppy seas indeed. :-).

Hi Denby, I would hold as I am very confident after the split we will make money. Even if the money grabber with the false smile is still in place.

IF and I mean if the placings don’t get gobbled up the s the time to worry but that won’t happen what it will show is the fund buyers faith in Darktrace. :-). Good hold from here methinks.

All’s this really means is that the shares being sold will be bought by various fund managers, probably at a discount on today’s sp but funds will not be buying if they thought they would be making a loss with Darktrace. The pointer will be at what price they buy. Then is the time to buy .in my opinion. Nobody picks the bottom. And why worry about trying to pick it. Follow the fund buyers price . :-). Should be very interesting tomorrow.

Think you are on the ball with that guess Claire. May even go a tad lower. As I’ve said before next two interims, especially second will sort it all out and send the sp back up quite a bit. Growing company just having growing pains . :-).

Still not in profit yet, although I’ve at least had good dividends.:-(.

I don’t trust newspapers, banks, directors, brokers and the rest of the corrupt gits. :-)

Sorry im talking about globule markets . When the USA sneezes everyone gets the cold.
When the Dow drops it will then follow on to the Far East then us . As I’ve said im keeping my Footsie tracker as that won’t drop as badly as the Dow . Quite happy to hold my cash in my stocks and shares isa even if im getting no interest. I will hopefully make it back when I buy back in .
Lloyds I won’t sell until it gets to about 62p adding NatWest probably. :-)

Funds aren’t always long term, that’s why brokers recommend that portfolios should be checked on a regular basis. I should know as I’ve been in a position where I have been 20,000 up and 18 months later 14000 down as the overall market dropped. So what I do now is realignment of my portfolio on a regular basis I’m keeping infrastructure funds and footsie trackers also banking shares . The reason for selling the rest is that the market will have a good correction at some stage then I will start buying back into funds that I think will do well. Don’t believe the crap these brokers saying you must be in the market it’s rubbish . :-).

In my opinion that’s a good move. I’ve liquidate most of my shares and funds . Now next move is to transfer my isa to AJ bell. Then wait for the inevitable drop in the markets. Still dabbing a bit with shares and keeping infrastructure funds. :-).

You can’t believe the newspapers, you can’t believe a broker . They all lie either to make headlines,

Hi Denby, that’s what all big companies do ,buy companies that are considered a threat to their profits. Think gsk sp should be ok now going forward. Wish the split would happen . :-).
