Noob I have no idea why you get your knickers so twisted. He on his last tweet from the site on the 12 July stated quite clearly to all and sundry that he would keep us updated as the drill progressed. After the problems they had and the fact they are now side tracking then yes I would quite like to see that drill turning just to show that there have been no more problems. Lets face it he was extremely quick to tell us about a show at 70m and quite slow to let us know about the broken drill. He could put together a 30 second tweet showing the rig working an saying don't worry about the fact we are well behind because we are taking it much slower than anticipated due to whatever. That would take up possibly 3 minutes of his time. and he obviously does not mind doing it because he normally tweets regularly. If he had said last Monday we are going to work on now and I will let you know when we get to TD I would not have a problem with that.

Speculative I think we are all gamblers if we are on AIM. You can only do your best to investigate the CEO and company, where they are operating (I would not normally touch Africa with a barge poll, but the change in the Govt has given me just enough hope to join in here, although I would still not be surprised if we succeed for some sort of Govt intervention) and the chance of success. But especially with explorers it is a gamble every time they sink a hole however much 2D/3D has ben done. I to am concerned about the complete silence from a company that has done brilliantly at keeping us informed up to now. We will have to see and weigh the risk which will be different for everybody.

Yep that's fine Craig if you have the money to do that, some people do not. Any how lets hope for good news soon and some cooler weather as everybody seems to be getting techy.

Craig having a plan and sticking to it takes a stronger person than one who throws his money in and just hopes it all turns out okay. Whilst we all hope this turns up a winner if we do not get what we want then I hope your okay with a 40/50% instant drop as that is what will happen. The clever investor might not make so much money if he is not fully in if its a winner, but he will have the cash available to pick up super cheap shares before the next drill. Both sides have advantages and disadvantages.

From somebody invested in Rockhopper that's pretty rich, lets hope the Italian Govt actually coughs up some money for you. They will find a way not to of course. I would stick to your problem company, just makes you look jealous.

I have been In several oil and gas companies whilst they they have been drilling . More often than not the result is not what you want. It does not overly matter in a big company eg Shell, BP and has very little effect on the SP, that is not the case with small AIM company where huge drops happen. After a while you learn to be cautious. This company up to now has been very good at keeping us informed by Twitter in the main, it therefore makes me more cautious when it all goes quiet.

I am not panicking I will be making a clear decision on the information available or not in this case. He was quite clear that he would keep us updated as the drill went down. I do not need a running commentary, however I do expect to be updated as he himself stated.

I am holding but I won’t be if we don’t get some sort of update either today or tomorrow. Last time we had silence like this we discovered there had been a problem with the drill. Enough of the hints and smiles Mr Minchin an update on where we are at is needed. We should be preparing the next drill site by now if nothing else.

I cannot see much happening with the SP until we get some good news. People will start to get twitchy if do not get news soon.

Really, just read read back your posts and tell me where you have asked for advice rather than comments like ‘jam tomorrow’ or ‘price of oil is crashing’ etc etc. People have tried to give you advice and at this current time it’s that you need to learn about investing before you commit hard earned cash on AIM. That’s not berating.

For goodness sake tradin call it a day. Markets go up and down constantly, if you are going to panic every time it goes down you need to leave and sell up. This will come good in its own time and is still some way off before it goes way up. Probably 2/3 years before it reaches anywhere close to real value. You can’t wait a week.
