rfarfa it does not matter how much gas there is if you cannot get it to market. It would cost billions to produce the infrastructure and years to build, to get the gas to market in any meaningful way

Gogs I could not understand why they did not user Tai1 to wire line that top section.

The other small matter that needs explaining is the fact they were sampling constantly as they went down hole, hence the reported shows. So what was the information when they drilled into what they describe as the reservoir? presumably it would have been spewing Helium at a far greater rate than the small shows above, what was the concentration etc. The fact that could not get the wire line down to the required depth should have not been critical as to if there was helium there. Maybe i missed something anybody got any ideas?

Seagulls fan I was immediately suspicious of tai-2 as I could not understand what they thought they could achieve 20m away from the initial drill. They had the opportunity to wireline the first drill at the shallower depth so why didn't they especially after announcing the first show. So I did not get the second drill at all, the fact that we saw those huge sells for a couple of days before the RNS made me suspicious enough to pull some money out but of course not enough. There was obviously a leak and somebody manged to get a large amount out before the RNS and quite frankly that stinks. PI once again taking the hit. All this stuff about drilling with water rigs also smells to me as it would seem to be a desperate attempt to keep relevant whilst the rainy season does its bit. Suffice to say I have lost confidence in this company.

So has anybody addressed that this was almost certainly leaked to somebody several days ago which allowed them out. Very neatly explains the massive sells over the past couple of days. These aim companies are shocking . In some ways it could also explain the very strange decision to drill again only 20m away which seemed extremely odd to me as they had the chance to log the shallower parts of the last drill. Why didn't they and if they did what were they expecting to see different 20m away. It would not surprise me if this second drill was planned to raise the SP and allow some investors out which it duly did. I would like the company to explain their whole thought process behind this second drill on site.

Marik for goodness sake if you are selling nearly a million quid's worth of shares you are unlikely to be an amateur.

What is important is who is selling and why. MM take the pee often but the numbers here are far to big to be them manipulating.

Hu11 it was bonkers really and sadly I expect an awful lot of people will have lost serious money on the back of all the ramping. Still the sensible ones will have made some serious money or perhaps regained some money that they had previously lost. 6 years and I still wait for the company to get a single flipping barrel of oil to the surface.

BP they have to dig and prepare (concrete)nwhat's called the cellar first which is where the drill will penetrate, it catches any junk that comes out. Prepare safety cut offs etc and move the rig which should be no big deal as its not large and on tracks. I would say 3/4 days from decision to have another go to being ready to go, providing they do not need further permissions from the Govt.

Ndn hopefully DM will explain what they are hoping for in the near future, otherwise an awful lot of people who are building this up for a discovery are going to be badly disappointed and even more faith will be lost. Time for the company to be ultra clear what they are aiming for even if its just more technical data.

Hi Ndn I think you are right with your timings and to be honest I am not expecting a discovery as we are drilling the same ground as the last hole, one would have thought that they will have already run wireline over the shallower shows. Any idea what they are expecting different this time around?

Well you are daft then RodRod, the two companies share what is looking like a massive oil field. If Conoco have to give up willow they will be looking for something else and something right next to the pipeline with more oil than Willow will be extremely tempting to them. They could start to bring it online by 2023 with ease. All you guys need to let go the animosity I spent 6 years in 88E right up until the results from the drill this year. If things look up I might get back in again but right this moment your worst enemy is looking the better bet. Every stock is down at the moment now may be a good time to have a look at your partners down near icewine.

Jonny can you imagine what a mess it would have been if they had gone with the original chosen rig.

Delighted to have some sort of plan and the company is moving forward. I freely admit I do not understand why we are drilling to shallower shows as we achieved that with the last drill and should have wire lined it because it was only the deepest bit we did not get to. If we did not then why not open the hole up again and wire line it. I just do not see 20m making any difference. Hopefully we get a more detailed explanation of what is going on.

Tintook they have already run the wireline through the shallower parts of the well at least a 10 days ago. Do you not think that they would have announced a discovery if they had one. Companies do not make a discovery, keep quiet about it, especially when the SP is falling away.

Ibiza you need to do some serious research. Despite finding some oil 88E has not yet flowed a single barrel to the surface. They have not delineated the field so in reality they have no proof of the size of field. Its in the middle of no-ware and will be reliant on using another companies oil pipe to get the oil to infrastructure and that's after they have spent 100 odd million on building there own pipeline. There is no way that a company is going to take this on yet, why would they take that huge risk. What they might do is spend 10m and take half the field (farm in) and see if oil flows, small risk for potentially big gain. There are other finds in Alaska that are much closer to infrastructure eg cheaper to operate that companies will look at first before they head off into the wilds miles from anywhere, especially as the world cuts down on oil usage.

If we have to wait till next year to drill the next hole the SP will be down at 3p because we will have to wait out the wet season before we can start. So what happened to the great plan of 3/4 holes taking a month each. I suspect the problem is with the drill rig. It was slow from the start, then we had the break and then it went even slower which may well have resulted in the poor quality bore. Replacing the rig will not be easy in that part of the world. God alone knows what would have happened if we had used the original smaller rig. Need a plan and soon.

I see there are some right twerps on the BB now. Mayoman you are right they have to tell us when they start drilling. They will also tell us when they start to prepare the site and have the relevant permissions etc. Kiwi you need to go and have a read of the rules and regulations of running a company on Aim. You will find they have to inform us of any event that may effect the SP price.
