Ayecuramba whilst the current plan is for EIS to be completed by the end of 2026 Trump is not going to let it take that long. He has already told the Corps of Engineers to expedite these studies. I would bet that provided the company has submitter the paperwork that this is completed by the end of this year. It is a question that should be asked of the company as too where we are with the paperwork. Also the Corps of Engineers had agreed to take no more than 18 months to complete these studies and that was before Trump came into office. So worst case middle of next year.

Brom it's just odd that they drop the SP straight out of the blocks. I strongly expect they do it when they have a buy they are trying to fill. Hit those stop losses straight away to generate stock to sell. The US was up on us so it was not that which caused the instant drop. I am quite sure the MM's and financial organisations help each other out too the detriment of PI's., all safe in the knowledge that the authorities are utterly incompetent and lazy.

Hi Rabito yes I realise I was being conservative but if you start using realistic numbers people just won't believe you as it sounds unrealistic and too good to be true. I am trying hard to hold out for the flow tests as that will be the make or break point. If they are anywhere as good as willow it will be time for the bottle of fizz I have had waiting in the fridge.

There have been a lot of ups and downs with PANR and at times I have been quite critical of them for what I believed was quite a cavalier approach to using our money. Since David came on board he has transformed the company into a much more professional outfit, which I strongly believe is about to have a break out of epic proportions.

Mark far too much information to come in the next few months, providing it's good news it will move up. If as they say (comparable to Willow) we get flow rates over 2000bopd then that will be absolutely huge for the company. That's all coming in the next couple of months.

Nicely done Sailplane just goes to show how big PANR's discovery is. If it flows in the same vane and we have 50 wells on tap to provide the gas then we will be producing 150000 bopd at say $30 profit then that's 4.5 million a day or 1.6 billion a year. That's before our two other fields are even looked at. Looks like silly numbers but it's not. Do your own research and you will come up with similar numbers.

29 billion shares, enough for 4 shares per man, woman and child in the world and yet no money in the bank. Anybody invested here has to be the bravest of investors, or completely nuts.

About to have another go at 50p.

It would seem at the moment we are in the grip of the traders. 50p is proving difficult to break, but break it will at some point. Love watching the rise but I am here to the end. There is going to be significant amounts of money (life changing) to be made. After years of struggling to get the oil to flow in decent amounts that would excite the punters, if we can get decent flow rates without the ‘but it will flow better when we do it for real’ statement then I think this will take off big time.

Bigpat out of interest what would you want in order to agree to a total takeover? For me it would be above £10 quid.

I wonder if Total might be interested in partaking in a massive oil and gas find in Alaska, you never know!!

He wants to know Donald Trump's views on investment in liquified natural gas (LNG).

Trump first says he would protect any shipments of LNG to Europe from the US, saying: "If we make a deal, we make a deal."

"I think it's (LNG) very important... we're gonna give very rapid approvals," he says of companies wanting to start building infrastructure and plants ".

Agreed Brom EIS is pretty key to meeting AGDC timelines for gas. You would think by now it would be sitting with the Corps of Engineers as 13 months is a very long time to produce a document that should be pretty much a cut and paste with a few add on's for that specific location. I would think the river will add some paragraphs!

If the pipeline gets the go ahead, by mid 2007 we will almost certainly drilling our first production wells of which we will need 70 odd by 2030 to meet agreed amount of gas. If you take each well producing 1000bopd (should be double that) that's 70000bopd at profit of lets say $30 per barrel that's 700 million dollars a year. So yes I would hope by 2007 we will getting there. Mid 2008 we should be really getting there. That's just Ahpun East without the rest. If the pipeline does not happen we should be doing similar numbers but the funding arrangements to pay for the wells will be different or we will have a partner.

That's a very difficult question to answer Chinaplate there are so many moving parts at the moment with regards to gas pipelines, flow tests, money etc. Personally I feel the difficult bit has been done eg finding oil. I fully expect for us to have over 2Bn barrels of gettable oil of which 1bn is right next to the oil pipeline. If the flow tests go well I fully expect the big boys to come around as it's too big an opportunity for them to miss out on. Personally I will be hanging on until we are either bought out or we reach £7 quid. Reaching that will take a few years but it will be worth it.
