Struggling budget airline Flybe Group (FLYB) strikes £5m leaseback deal on a hangar to carry on flying. Budget airline Flybe last night said it had struck a sale and leaseback deal on a hangar as it struggles to keep flying. It will net £5million from the 25-year agreement with Exeter and Devon Airport. Flybe will pay an annual rent of £515,000, with a review every five years. It said: ‘The net proceeds will be used for general working capital purposes in accordance with Flybe’s comprehensive strategic review.’
