Flybe are locked into lease until at least 2028. That shows hreat confidence that flybe will still be around then. The market should recognise this and it should now rerate.

Krakenoil - are you sure you're not thinking of resisdential property? This is commercial property. We get 10% yield easily on our commercial properties, often higher. Not sure where your 6% is coming from for commercial. It's an entirely different proposition. Do you also think you'd be able to rent an office or shop with the same square footage for the same price as your home mortgage?

Budget airline Flybe last night said it had struck a sale and leaseback deal on a hangar as it struggles to keep flying. It will net £5million from the 25-year agreement with Exeter and Devon Airport. Flybe will pay an annual rent of £515,000, with a review every five years. It said: ‘The net proceeds will be used for general working capital purposes in accordance with Flybe’s comprehensive strategic review.’

A Flybe hangar at Exeter Airport has been sold for £5m plus VAT. Exeter & Devon Airport Limited has leased the property back to the airline at a cost of £515,000 a year.

This is likely to gap up this morning pretty quickly past 15p and there's a gap to fill berween 15p and 20p
