flyover2011 - as stated in the strategic review RNS, selling is just one option, they've proven with the hangar sale (not HQ sale haha Telegraph) they can and will resctructure and it's business as usual. For sale if someone wants to buy a thrivinf company in a few months for a few quid a share or they can buy them now for at least 50 per share. Simples.

Oshea - flybe has already proven they don't NEED a takeover by generating a £5million sale at fair balue not firesale price and also negotiated a long contract for lease which shows confidence by the buyer. So no there won't be any need for a firesale. That isn't even a credible scenario tbh. You need to reread the wording in the strategic review RNS - it's just ONE option. Your tactic is instil fear with your version of a worst case scenario but pretend it's the most likely or only scenario. You should write for The Telegraph.

I personally think BA will make a bid on Monday. Over 40p and the bidding war will commence. Wouldn't personally want Stobart to buy.

Oshea - Gary said EasyJet et al's bidding interest was speculation..it isn't. It's fact and there in black and white. There hasn't been a bid yet or not as far as we know. But EasyJet et al have expressed an interest. There in the Financial Times. This will be 30p, 40p or 50p by Monday if a 7am RNS states there's a bid.

Flyover2011 - yesterday afternoon's Financial Times article negates what you just said about EasyJet not being interested...you've been BUSTED for doing poor research:

It isn't speculation, these 2 companies have expressed an interest or the Financial Times wouldn't have printed it, they aren't an outfit like The Telegraph:
