Trump being the chump he is has just added to the value of gold, or devalued the dollar if you like, think as always this will fall initially if there’s a rout on wall st, but once gold gets back to $2000plus it will refocus attention on all gold and PM miners.
Surely not even NM could get another one out, unless he’s reacting to events. Cornerstone may ask for negotiations with a view of recommending offer. NM probably sees this as the best play to keep control so may be prepared to pay a premium, saying that he looks the type to peel an orange in his pocket. At this point think probability of BHP taking Solg out with a bid is better than even, providing they are prepared to pay 65p. Newcrest too busy with Havieron, Barrick could be a dark horse with an all share offer. STill reasonable chance NM can hold onto the baby but he needs to prove up some serious potential, hence the bums rush of late, Corvid must have thrown a huge spanner into his machine. Any more rns’s and we’ll know he’s clutching at straws.
Gold looking to breakthrough $1915 resistance.next step $2000 then the also rans will be all over it. Whoever wins the Us election it’s spend spend spend, Trump cannot bare to see the stock market tank so will print to enable bankrupt companies to continue trading, Biden on the other hand would happily see the market drop as he has 4 years To Tax the hell out of anyone with money, so he can bribe a corrupt, work shy benefit class, just like Labour tried to do. Either way the days of the Greenback being a safe haven are well and truly over. Oriental gentlemen might add a verse to a well known ditty.
Uncle Sam, American tried to earn his chow
Uncle Sam American didn’t know how
Uncle Sam American fells the money tree
Uncle Sam America Now no longer free
Could be a red letter day in particular news of the big three. Not expecting much on the financial side, with so many greedy snouts in the trough. Anyway for me Alm is the starter the main course being solg’s 15% shareholder Bhp being released from their 2 year lock in, hoping a bidding war will force 3 majors to out bid each other on this truly world class company. Anyway enough of Solg, expecting some game changing news here, it always takes twice as long as you’d hoped.
Potential is incredible, held Ggp from 2p and withstood several 25% shakes, this will happen here, as with any semi illiquid stock. My advice to any holders write down the reasons you hold and what you would be happy to accept. If the price drops check against your reasons, have fundamentals changed if not top up, do not sell. If and when you reach your sell level don’t sell them all sell 50% and set a 30% stop loss. Reset you sell price and ditto. Has worked for me on a couple of times Ggp being the latest, hopefully Solg at the moment and Hzm in coming months.
Just bought back in after taking some profits at Ggp. Seems like a copy of Solg to me, personally don’t think it helpful to look too far downstream to Tesla and EVs, the true share valu added will come with financing the mine development. Royalty financing will dilute shareholders a little but increase the share price proportionally. Build it and they will come. Real potential here just needs a bit of BOD hard work.
Coming thick and fast, expect one about 2pm saying NM has just had his fish and chips and the fish was covered in “Golden Breadctumbs”. Suspect it’s no coincidence next Thursday is the 15th and NM is worried his child might be about to fly the nest. Time will tell. Interesting to see if the share price is affected, not by the news in the RNS but the fact NM thought it necessary to release it.
Would not be surprised to see 15th come and go with no news re Bhp. It was merely a date that they couldnt act before, doesn't mean they have to act. Also expect a shake or two to loosen weak holders. Personally think the main drivers for share price in next few weeks are going to be drill results, but then they could be spectacular.
Solg price has indeed been 46p it was that when Alpala was discovered to be a tier 1 copper discovery. Since then the gold discovered already as a by product of the copper would embarrass even Gervaise. Just announced a second tier 1 discovery at Porvenair, that makes 2 out of 2 only another unlucky 13 to go. Although we all know the true value of Ggp one can only imagine what Solg is worth if even none of the other 13 sites prove successful. Anyway time is of the essence as the BHP impasse runs out on 15 th Oct. Good luck prospectors.
The worst thing to do with a share is get emotional or even love it, they are but instruments to be bought and sold, the easy bit is selling at a profit, harder holding when bagging and hardest selling at a loss. Ask yourself if you did not own any shares in cine would you buy into a company with no business plan and with unsustainable debts, no you would not, that’s why you will not be bailed out. A lot of other untouchables are going to be well and truly touched in near future, my advice for what it’s worth get out at any price and with the dead money put it into gold multi baggers who knows you could end up in profit, suggest looking at Solg, and Ggp or for real fireworks Gpss. Any who do continue holding do not throw good after bad with a rights take up even if it’s at 1p.
Could seem to the cynical that they are whetting the appetite for the main course, Rey much in a rush to get investors on side. One way or another we will get to a decent % of NAV sooner or later. Anyway info was what was to be expected surprised if this had anything other than a temporary influence on share price.
Whenever the NAV arrives you can add on about 10% for Ggp rise since late sept. Expect it should be good as Ggp were trading at 12 end June and Cora and Kefi nearly doubled aalso. One to keep tucked away or added to on drops until shenanigans sorted out at Ggp.
Can’t see that happening as it would be a strategic investment but with no sphere of influence. China owns Africa and could exert all ,anger of pressure on unresponsive African “leaders”, but in South America China has little or no influence conversely Uncle Sam does, before long everyone in the world is going to have to choose sides, I choose Precious metals of which I include Copper. Anyway on a Solg note, can’t help but notice things are winding up for something, could be a bid, BHP buying Newcrest just under the magic 30% auto bid, keeping powder dry for other drilling developments. All looking good for Solg.
Ramp, decamp doesn’t much matter the main thing here is an industry that no longer exists, not a massive problem if they had cash, they could reinvest in the new technology, but with debt quite different, be honest who would stump up 20 or even 10p on a rights, so sell and get into something with potential, plenty out there, remember owning these shares is like having a £20 ticket for last nightS show, it was worth £20 yesterday, today it’s worthless.
Should be interesting when it arrives. Could be a few surprises and widening discount maybe. Think the discount should reduce as the portfolio is becoming more liquid by the day. AnywY a good share to hold onto until this global debt bomb has exploded and the greenback is no longer the reserve currency.
Recent map but nothing has changed re licensing. Although impossible to predict would not be surprised to get a couple of shakes this week. My advice is write down a price you are happy sell 50% of holding also wtite down the main reasons you hold the share, of the price rises follow the sale through no matter what, of tjetes a shake revisit the reasons you hold, if nothing has changed and the price drops unreasspnably, top up. This strategy has worked for me far more times than it has failed. Twice missed out on multi multi bagging but far more often saved myself later slling at a loss. Glh it could be an exciting ride for xmas
This is a map of showing the sites Solg will be exploring. As you can see so far the two sites are either end of the country so good possibility that the sites between will also be productive. When we only had one site proved up I was willing to accept a reasonable offer from Bhp or Newcrest, but recent developments show we would be mad to do anything other than develop our own mines possibly via a royalty agreement with Franco Nevada.
