As I recall when the offer was made to Cornerstone, Solgs share price fell, normal for the bidding company, question is will the price rise now there is no offer. Interesting couple of days, not expecting much news from BHP unless it’s a straight bid, as they have been prevented from even discussing possibilities until tomorrow. More interesting will be the drilling news, which if positive would support a minimum 50 to 60p price for now.
Think twice as lots of positive news due over the next few weeks. If out of the market will be expensive to get back in, several irons in the fire and if one comes off it’s not a 10% rise, more like 50%. Just a thought
Went long on Solg, with ig, dodgy 2 hours but the stops held by a good margin and ended the day all square, if a bid arrives with a limit of 55p could be able to raise stakes in Gpm, Gpss, Ggp and Hzm without overdoing my limits. Could turn out nice again mother, as Arthur Askey would say.
24% discount to NAV on a strongly rising figure seems a tad cautious to me, time will tell but as a bullish goldie I know where my money is going , rather than guess which are the best explorers and juniors to back, sit back and let GPM do the detective work and they also give you a buy 3 get one free. Must remember to top up Gpss even bigger discount there with 40 days of potential free and in the money already.
Just found update NAV for sept, Oct 6th. The trajectory for Sve appears exponential on the graph a little mean to have it at 42% discount. Could attract a suitor with such a liquid asset as Ggp at 90% of value. Can see a lot of upside irrespective of events and the cheapest means of holding Ggp.
sent email to find out when update due, will inform board when I hear
No director would release a RNS saying no information that justified increase whilst he knew negotiations were taking place re a takeover. It would be no comment. With the inevitable fall this RNS engenders, a subsequent acknowledgement that a bid had come and the share price rise would be bound to involve legal action re disinformation. Good luck holders you are going to need it to justify the recent rises.
After Solg and Ggp this is my third largest holding, potential incredible, better certainly than Ggp but up there with Solg. Sooner rather than later when the deeds are done, wealthy investors in Ggp and sold will be looking for the next explorer unicorn. Think also that The Robin Hood mob will be looking for exits from their overpriced FAANGS. Hopefully I’ve read the entrails right GLA.
Only a suggestion, what if NM has informally agreed an offer with Bhp in principle but had to disclose insider info to get a best price, the info would have to be released before the formal offer hence the surfeit of RNS ‘s lately. One to add to the list of possibilities on a Sunday Evening in mid October whilst locked out of anything better to think of.
A lot of twash on here of late, Politics, unless it has a direct rezult on Solg, is not a subject to be discussong here. We all have oir own opinions and that is good, if you want to talk aboit them thete are lots of other vehicles oit there, lets keep this one purely for greed and fear
Thank you and Nos dda.
Crystal Amber have been very quiet of late, must be happy with what’s happening in background. Suppose sooner or later we have to get a satisfactory report, any slip ups and I’m afraid it’s off to the headmaster for the board. Look forward or some news.
Yes probably, at first, by the lenders, can’t see too many Entertainment companies queuing up for $8 billion of EXTRA debt. I mentioned chapter 11 as most complexes are in the USA, the only way shareholders are going to get their original investment back is either selling and buying into something relevant with multi bagging potential, (Solg or Ggp) or forming a SPAC getting it way and selling onto some other sucker, seems to be working in the Ponzi Republic of The USA.
For who, maybe the BOD and their salaries while they can hang onto them, not I think for shareholders, who in their right minds is going to finance a $8 billion debt pile with no foreseeable or predictable business plan. Some of the redundant cinema complexes will undoubtably reopen next year or the year after run by Vue or Odion, Cineworld will go down as a company whose only plan was keep growing at ANY cost and worry about the repayments when the luck runs out, unfortunately for shareholders that time has come and is rapidly going. Again I repeat sell now, 30p might seem cheap but it’s a lot dearer than p
Under a £6billion. Debt, and this isn’t at 1.5% fixed for 10 years at an understanding bank, they would go under if suddenly every Cinema opened and there was mega release every single day for the next year. Heavily diluting rights issue if the management want to keep their considerable considerations for a few months longer, or more probably straight chapter 11. There were too many Cinemas chasing too few customers before the pandemic, there had to be consolidation and those slowed by the burden of debt were first to go, deliberate use of past tense. Sell while you can this dead cat bounce like always will end in tears, for shareholders. Cine world RIP
Our offer is about 12% more than their share price, with momentum on our side. If they don’t agree to talks and NM manages to keep this from a take over Cornerstone are in a rut particularly if news dictates we go all out for one of the other projects first, their shares would halve overnight. Risky game being played by cornerstone hope their shareholders approve.
Very tight market here, 1 share, I kid you not, sold this morning, caused a massive 11% drop. The last time this happened a few days latter we were up about 25%. Have no idea what prompts such shenanigans, let the businesses do the talking. Still think we may be overdue a few nice news surprises, GLA.
Just gone Long on IG, better spread than buying the shares, Anyway up to my max,in terms of single holding, so technically not cheating. Hoping this will kick on towards 50p now we all know a bid is definitely coming. Resist and stay strong this is worth more than anyone can imagine. Looking laterally at Peru and Columbia anyone know of companies with exploration potential near the borders with Ecuador
This appears to be the new Klondike, the first there became astonishingly wealthy, remember these discoveries are once in a generation and the capital gain likewise, providing we all keep our heads and don’t snatch at the first exorbitant offer we’ll all be millionaires this time next year. Not normally this positive on a Thursday morning but NM is giving his best shot at getting full value for the shareholders.
Just got a few at22.65p, main exposure to Ggp via Sve and Prim but a bit concerned Sve may have sold so couldn’t take a chance of not being in here when news drops. Still think that providing Sve still have 85 million its the best way to get exposure to Ggp ditto prim, effectively buying Ggp at about 13.5p. Awaiting Update from Sve which is overdue if they still have all the Ggp shares I am a bit overexposed but a good share to be overexposed in. Bring on the news
