What are the odds that the fees owed are equal to the 1%. I believe FRR will be out of the block 12 in it’s entirety.

BLOE getting their hands on it and doing something with it is a different issue.

If BLOE can prove themselves over the next few months maybe a deal can be done for a profit share/equity basis. Not sure the gogc would “give” away an asset if that size.

The more I look at the FRR situation you realise how things can go wrong when politics and huge amounts of money are involved.

Anyone have any information in regard to the 1% vs 99%. And if the 2D or 3D respective coverage comes with it ?. Just getting huge acreage and over 1000 old wells with no data doesn’t fill me with joy. That is if FRR 1% is the current producing area

Looks like FRR played hard ball and crossed a line with GOGC and the GG, FRR where then made an example of, arbitration enforced the contract and awarded FRR 1% of the block as compensation.

Bad outcome for FRR who valued the field at £400M. Presume that is sunk investment and the value of the 2d/3D as well as proven.

FRR have not appealed so in theory 99% of Block 12 is up for grabs, back to scratching head as to how PH is going to pull this off

It is a producing field, yes FRR fell foul of their contract and the government seized the block there was an appeal in court recently IIRC.

Real question is how would block get their hands on this with their current MCAP and cash at hand. Awesome if the Georgian government is doing it on a long term Rev share, but you would think they want cash at the moment.

A large spread maximises mm’s profits if it is real, quite often a large spread is used to blanket cover volatility in the buy and sell window.

As a consequence it can deter buying and selling.

Three theories for today’s rise.

1. The seller (gog) that has flattened the share price has run out and the share price is returning to market value. A rush today to get shares as this could be the last low point.

2. 3D analysis is complete and a mother load is showing, those involved are buying before news hits.

3. Maybe connect to 2 a whale is circling ready to swallow us up.

I have put them in order or likelihood IMO.

So if we are looking at an acquisition by a 3rd party.

You would assume the largest shareholders @7p wound want a return and not a loss at this point in time and therefore wouldn’t approve a sale at a lower point than 7p a share. Likewise Sclumberger would also want a fair value from someone like Rosneft.

I would be happy at 12p or any multiples or SP higher than that :-)

We are still below fair value, todays action doesn’t represent a leak. It is just a big seller(s) drying up and a rally IMO. Will be interesting to see how this holds for the rest of this week.
Looking forward to this testing 4p before gas news arrives, then the rerate.

CPI are an early stage incubator (Investment & Support) in multiple areas inc Pharma, they helped get NFX up and running. How they are funded they have to get so many new projects off the ground every year, to do this they have to sell previous investments. Ideally it is when they have made it big and CPI make a profit to fund more projects.

NFX is one of their more mature albeit smaller pharma ventures, with investments all over pharma for covid related stuff, and across their portfolio they are probably hurting. To continue to incubate they must sell holdings in NFX and elsewhere, siting tight isnt an option for them.

It has been a bit lonely in this board, I was a an AXM victim and initially sceptical of EaaS. After researching and understanding their business model. I can see the market cap here increasing in multiples long term.
