Surely they shouldn’t be buy backing. Cash is needed for new product development to thwart Vlad.

Investor presentation is pointless. The BoD trying to cover its backside, whereas a major clearout is needed.

According to my maths, if it replicates results of Q1 for the remainder of the year, the p/e is 6. Though I feel the depreciatin policy is a tad undercooked.

Clearly, the BoD are not going to put up much of a fight. They are having to spend their energy on integrating the recent North American acquisitions, the sad floods in Valencia, and a stubborn pension deficit rather than running a business. Best to let somebody else with deep resources do all this. Hopefully the BoD will be able to get an auction going.

Exceptiionals are a recurring feature of MKS financials. So not exceptional at all, but business as usual. Basically MKS is cash flow business.

MYI is in long term liquidation coz of share buybacks, dividend beginning to be paid out of accumulated reserves. Death by Chinese torture.
