Thus real disposable income is more or less stuck, so bricks and mortar retailers are in a perilous position unless they have a well regarded online presence such as Next. As for M&S, who knows yet. The food side online thru Ocado is pretty disastrous a present, and we won’t get a clear picture on the online non food side til later in 2026.

Treatt generates cash, is debt free and has no overvalued goodwill on its balance sheet. Trading wise it's a bit down on its luck at the moment, but most companies go through a downturn at some time or other. So it has the inbuilt financial strength to get through, so deserves to remain independent IMHO.
