Getting rather tired of little price progress - AG's concern about grades etc had me a tad nervy though I do think the absolute size (as opposed to quality of grade) of Cascabel does still make it a prospect for someone to purchase from Solgold if volumes start to rise significantly then there may be some truth in this - at present the stock is dead as a dodo but primed I would say and building a decent support base at least the selling's dried up (or appears to have dried up for now) and that's always a very welcome sight indeed - more buying and less selling always forces up the price

NT fracking as early as 2019 09:19 AM Early risers on Day two of the APPEA conference heard directly from the Northern Territory Minister for Primary Industry and Resources, Ken Vowles, on the work being done to lay the ground for the resumption of shale gas drilling, potentially as early as next year. But the message from the minister at the NT breakfast was clear: the industry needs to earn its social licence to operate to expand onshore. After the April 26 decision to lift the fracking ban, work has started on implementation of the 135 recommendations from the scientific inquiry into fracking, with a formal implementation plan to be released in late July. The process is being overseen by Dr David Ritchie. A community onshore shale gas reference group is to be set up to provide feedback to government from stakeholders on the development of the implementation group. That group will include representatives from communities, local government and business, the gas industry and land councils. An internal taskforce will be working on the inside, with other teams set up within departments to handle angles specific to their work. 16 May 2018 10:15 News Fuel security a "real political issue": Canavan RESOURCES Minister Matt Canavan thinks that longer term the Beetaloo Basin in the Northern Territory, now open again for exploration after the frac ban lift, may not provide only more gas security but also liquid fuel security. - I am intrigued to know the potential for oil at Beetaloo - Is Canavan indulging in hype here when he talks about Beetaloo being able to ensure 'liquid fuel security'? To suggest there's oil is one thing but to suggest that this oil could provide 'fuel security' is another. He's almost suggesting that Beetaloo could contain enough oil to supply a % of the needs of Australia or am I reading too much into is comments? Do we have oil at Beetaloo or not?!! I do like the approach from the Fed that Beetaloo is of national security importance - such a classification allows Fed-Gov political ownership of Beetaloo and provides a degree of protection - it should prevent attempts by Labour's various vested interest groups from trying to sabotage

JP Falcon represents around 20% of my holdings. People might think 20% is a tad high but the value of Falcon's 30% in a massive shale-gas find (both wet and dry gas) at Beetaloo is so valuable that 20% is a risk worth taking.. I will over-expose to a stock If I comfortable with its asset base relative to its market cap (example is JOG - its market cap is tiny compared to its assets) - we are carried for 5 wells (Falcon remains carried for the cost of the next five wells with the original cap totalling A$101m (�56m) for the last four wells).. no debt. cash at around A$10m and our 30% all for �200m mkt cap - ban is lifted so de-risked on that front (hopefully!) - i'm holding for the offers which I believe will come sooner rather than later (hopefully!)

A bit of value realisation wouldn't go amiss? You do get the feeling that there's a lot of stuff going on beneath the radar now the ban's been lifted - the starting pistol's been fired and planners, strategists and dealmakers will formulating their plans we're in the sweet spot but yes, I agree, the interest requires some stimulation
