The AX Market Maker is the lead market maker on the order book but it's a task to work out who he is at times!! The AX tends to reveal his hand which may indicate the direction of travel for the price...When the AX moves the other MMs on the book will see him move and think 'he knows something' and follow him up or down as in 'follow my leader'

I think Winterflood is the other main MM on the book..they are after all the largest MM in London

way off touch again at 3.6. When BERG moves up nearer touch the price does strengthen somewhat..let's see if my theory of BERG being the AX plays out here

not playing at present though just moved up from 3.04 to 3.14. He's been the main driver here. When he starts to move up we may see others follow him. I think he's the AX-MM on GGP cos whenever he's bidding the price gains some decent momentum...all conjecture on my part of course
