All reserves are not created equally. The higher the grade the more valuable the discovery, the lower the AISC, even more so if the discovery is in a secure jurisdiction

Last night was manic. I saw a trading halt on Newcrest. The news on their placing regarding a 'material acquisition'. It was entirely understandable that one would assume that Newcrest was about to launch a bid for GGP based on such news releases. As it turns out that assumption was wrong.
