2. Maris and Chaffe are now actively working with CA and their two appointees at Hurricane

Which is it?

I am trying to find out if the two new CA appointees knew, saw and agreed to yesterday's RNS or if they were completely unaware of it or they knew of it but don't have the authority to stop its release?

Does the CEO have sole authority under LSE and company (Art of Assoc) rules to issue RNSs without any other form of board oversight?

All of this boardroom politics nonsense is so unnecessary.

The way forward for the small shareholders is to get rid of Maris and Chaffe and install a CEO and CFO that are pro-shareholder, pro-Hurricane. If this doesn't happen it does suggest that CA approves of their presence and their despicable behaviour which may seem counter-intuitive when one looks at Wed's CA excoriating comments regarding the previous board's destructive actions

We need CA to point the way forward here using action to instill flagging confidence

I wonder why in yesterday's annual report CA called for a 12 mth extension for the FPSO and today, Maris suggested a 'reduction or ceasing' of production at Lancaster. Which is it? Ceased or reduction? How the feck can you inject such a huge dollop of uncertainty into a company news release? That's malicious and CA need to update the market cos it seems Maris is once again operating with intent to harm
