Origin General Manager for Beetaloo and Growth Assets, Chris White said, “The length of time the well was able flow unassisted was an incremental improvement on previous testing and reinforces what we have learned about the resource to date.

“The purpose of our exploration campaign this year has been to further our understanding across the three primary plays – Velkerri dry gas, Velkerri liquids rich gas, and Kyalla liquids rich gas.

“Despite the challenges with sustaining flows from this first well into the Kyalla shales, the results show it remains a viable exploration target within the Beetaloo.

“Further work will be undertaken, including additional core analysis and a review of operations and design of the well to inform any future drilling and testing of the Kyalla play,” Mr White said.

· Assay results for the second angled hole of the Phase 2 drilling programme at the Racecourse porphyry deposit have given further confirmation of the high-grade copper porphyry potential of the deposit, with the first two holes returning very encouraging results with thick copper intersections.

· Drill hole BRDD-21-007 returned an intersection of 155m @ 0.47% CuEq from a depth of 238.92m. The intersection in hole BRDD-21-007 follows that in hole BRDD-21-008 which intersected 184m @ 0.51% CuEq from a depth of 204m (refer to RNS 28 September 2021).

· Interval results of hole BRDD-21-007 are given in Table 1 below and summarised here;

o 155.08m at 0.47% CuEq (0.41% Cu, 0.06 g/t Au, and 2.65 g/t Ag) from 238.92m

§ Including 110.28m at 0.55% CuEq (0.48% Cu, 0.08 g/t Au, and 3.01 g/t Ag) from 238.92m

§ Including 38.08m at 0.69% CuEq (0.59% Cu, 0.14 g/t Au, and 2.19 g/t Ag) from 238.92m

· The highest intercept returned 2m at 1.14% CuEq (0.73% Cu, 0.66 g/t Au, and 1.40 g/t Ag) from 257m and is associated with sheared and brecciated mineralised volcanics

Japan's Inpex Corporation is seeking opportunities to expand its $US45 billion Ichthys liquefied natural gas project in Australia's north, with new exploration drilling and potential acquisitions also on the table.

The oil and gas giant, part-owned by the Japanese government, will look at options to build new LNG processing trains at the Ichthys site in Darwin once the existing two trains are operating at full tilt, and may seek to access new oil and gas resources from its Browse Basin fields, other offshore fields or onshore shale in the Northern Territory's Beetaloo Basin.'

Tesla Autopilot’s most formidable rival from legacy auto is on a break, with General Motors confirming that its flagship driver-assist system, Super Cruise, is unavailable for now. The culprit behind this is, quite unsurprisingly, the ongoing semiconductor shortage.

The halt of Super Cruise’s rollout is unfortunate, especially as it is arguably one of the flagship features of the Cadillac Escalade SUV. Super Cruise is well received, with some car critics even ranking it higher than Tesla’s Autopilot system due to its active driver monitoring systems.

Yet in a statement on Wednesday to CNET, a Cadillac spokesperson confirmed that Super Cruise is not being released to any of the company’s vehicles for now. It’s not just the Escalade, either, as the Cadillac spokesperson also confirmed that the CT4 and CT5 — the next two cars expected to receive the advanced driver-assist system — would also not be released with Super Cruise for the current model year.

“Super Cruise is an important feature for the Cadillac Escalade program. Although it’s temporarily unavailable at the start of regular production due to the industry-wide shortage of semiconductors, we’re confident in our team’s ability to find creative solutions to mitigate the supply chain situation and resume offering the feature for our customers as soon as possible.

“The semiconductor shortage resulted in us postponing the full launch of Super Cruise in our sedans until model year 2022. Now, the 2022 CT4s and CT5s will be available with Super Cruise in the first half of next year,” the spokesperson said.

If these customers perceive that SEE doesn't have the liquidity they are not gonna sign off on those contracts. The customer will perform their due diligence on SEE and make sure they won't suddenly collapse and leave the customer stranded with a fundamental piece of the car's architecture ie DMS Chip

A placing (BB speculation) to finance Auto DMS contracts would be heartily welcomed by investors and Mr Market. It's those placings to 'keep the lights on' that the market viciously punish but in SEE's case it would provide funding to assert its market dominance...

Origin do not own nor are they involved in partnership with others in the production of gas in the NT so they're involvement in this CCUS project can only mean one thing, their involvement is in preparation for the development of Beetaloo

Origin has also indicated their desire to reduce their stake in the Beetaloo which does suggest taking on another major player(s) to drive Beetaloo forward. FOG, evidently is in no position to play a development role in this. It's got enough cash to run the Dublin office and buy the tea and coffee each week

Where's the gas source for this CCUS hub? Is it offshore or Beetaloo?

One would assume that with all the hullabaloo surrounding 'carbon emissions' from future Beetaloo production and the political desire to be seen to offset such emissions then this hub is primarily designed to :

Politically placate the 'Greens' and environmentally though that won't succeed
and yes, to actually achieve an environmentally benefical effect

Either way, it's further anecdotal evidence that the political and business classes are preparing the ground for the commercial development of the Beetaloo
