CA's just upped their stake to 26.7%. To all intents and purposes they have become an insider and I would argue it's naive to assume otherwise

Now up to 26.7% as of yesterday. Why? It's obviously a bullish development and I doubt one that would have happened if Bernstein had any concerns about the company and its viability going forward. He knows more than he's letting on, certainly more than us lot and certainly more than the market. The old adage of 'follow the money' surely applies here

I'm simply focusing on the timing of last week's uber negative news release from Maris and this week's stake increase by CA. I've been in the markets quite a number of years and such events tend not to be accidental. But, it's a positive if indeed my hunch is correct as it suggests all are now heading at least in the right direction

If CA release another disclosure showing another % increase in their stake then imho a takeover is on the cards.

Such action is a reflection of the substantial material value contained deep within HUR.

The actions of CA, Maris and the bondholders does not detract from HUR's material value that at current oil prices minus the bonds is far higher than the current market value of the company

Last week's news which caused the price fall and then CA upping their stake a week later may sugggest either coincidence or collaboration and that all parties are now on the same page (CA, Maris and Bondholders) in that they (with the bondholders offering up the finance to buy the remaining stakes from other holders) want to buy the company, take it private and then the bondholders finance further development of HUR's portfolio.....

It's a bullish scenario not a bearish one but that could be the aim though I could be utterly wrong...either way, someone's buying up loose stock. Yes, it's CA but are they alone or are they acting in concert?
