Top end of expectations and the share price has dropped nearly 12% since the announcement :-/

I think Debra Crew needs to dig deep in her pocket and buy some shares to show confidence in the company she manages.

I messaged Franchise Brands again on Monday and got a response from Mark Fryer (CFO) and he stated

"I apologise for the delay. We will provide a notice of the date of the results, which are expected to be announced in June, in due course. The results are later this year as, following the acquisition of Pirtek last year we are a significantly larger business (known as an Other Public Interest Entity), requiring a Tier 1 audit which takes longer to complete, particularly in the first year of classification."

Cheers Telf, I emailed Fran direct but never had a response so emailed their PR company and got the same response. I think that is very poor that I didn’t even get a response direct from the company and still no updates as to when the final results will be released.

I see it that if MNDI walk away their price will rise….I’m tempted to sell all my SMDS now and put into MNDI in the hope that will happen …I don’t want the shares in IP

While the Board is confident in the actions taken in Motor, it recognises that the period over which to judge the sustainability of Motor's capital generation has been short and consequently this dividend should not be regarded as a resumption of regular dividends. The Board will update on any changes to its dividend policy, alongside the conditions it has previously set to consider restarting regular dividends, in July to coincide with its planned strategy update.
