George Frangeskides, Chairman at ALBA, explains why the Pilbara Lithium option ‘was too good to miss’. Watch the video here.
@rovingwolf did you read my post? As I noted, it was relevant to HEMO... if it wasn't I would have less surprise at it being removed.
Feel free to scrutinise my posting history if you actually believe what you've said about my comments. There's only one poster I called out because they seem to think they're better than everyone else - no doubt why I got my LSE warning - and the rest I was having to defend against attacks for having an opinion.
I’m sorry but the censoring on this BB is ridiculous. I’ve just noticed that another of my comments has been removed which was back to @jhfh between 23:06 and 23:17 last night where I clarified my opinion that the YouTube video was scheduled for 7am yesterday but mistakenly uploaded with the ‘Premiere’ button toggled on which enable everyone to inadvertently see it…
What on earth was wrong with that post? Particularly as @jhfh, a generally respected poster on here, subsequently agreed with it… It's there in black and white, except now when you read this, "@scart- OH sorry completly missed that point, yes, fair point I agree with your assumption" you have no idea what @jhfh was referring to...
Some posters are deliberately attempting to change the visible narrative on here instead of just adding to the discussion and it's not on. What other relevant people's opinions are somehow being removed on here for no valid reason, meaning that when I check in on the BB I'm not actually getting the full picture..?
@macaumike currently the real spread is 13.4825p vs 13.74p so about 2%. Do some dummy sells/buys and you'll see
@pingu I'm not trying to talk it down, I'm trying to have a valid discussion - something only a few seem capable of on this BB.
In my mind the lupus was already put forward in the 26 June RNS so no I didn't see that as particularly new news, but I never said the content of the video was negative - so let's not make stuff up - I said "relatively underwhelming", which compared to announcing Globalco and the sp reaching the heavens it was... wasn't it?
So in answer to your not-required-to-answer questions, I'm a relative 'newbie' having been in for about 6 weeks and no I'm not a 'fibber' but it's kind of you to check on me.
@pingu agreed I can't see that the Q&A wouldn't be preempted by a significant RNS that probably answers most of the questions they're going to be getting. Like @jhfh said earlier, it ties in fairly neatly with the extension and time 'buffer' and it wouldn’t be in anyone’s interests to not have a relatively open discussion about current activities.
My only worry is their PR team thought the 'premiere' video today was a good idea and I’m afraid I don’t agree with you that HEMO are “sharpening their PR game up slowly but surely.” Although it’s great they’re beginning to push the word out, the whole ‘premiere’ created a lot of hype over the weekend which was exciting for shareholders and imo the content was a let down compared to what we were hoping for. I still wonder if something accidentally toggled the 'premiere' button and If they ever did it again do you think we’d all have the same enthusiasm..? It was definitely a missed opportunity in my opinion.
I just hope they haven’t gone ahead with something similar with this webinar/Q&A and that they can actually knock it out of the park and really deliver this time - fingers crossed!
@manifesto wow you're quite the charmer, "Perhaps you are not sophisticated enough to decipher the content..." thanks for that. You're still resorting to deflecting and name calling, without actually adding anything of meaning to the discussion that hasn't already been said today by me or others, whilst still making out to be the big man-in-the-know instead of just showing some humility.
The 'premiere' today wasn't the huge announcement we'd all been hoping for, if it was we'd be sat in the teens or higher by now. The sp went up 10%, big whoop, tomorrow it'll probably go down 5-10% (I hope it doesn't btw) - what will be the reason for that? Don't worry, I'm sure you'll make up something that you knew all along.
@vickaroo I sent them an email this morning with concerns of how they will mitigate ‘no comment’ questions other than just ignoring them and ensure that there is some ‘meat on the bone’ for existing shareholders, as well as new investors. I’ll let you know if they come back to me
@manifesto I’ve already stated my main takeaway and that was the close cultural relationship of the two companies possibly hinting at further collaborations or a t/o. I still don’t think we saw this though..:
“If there is no price sensitive news to be included
then why delay until Monday Morning......There is no reason.. There is news, and there will be a RNS to coincide with the video..IMHO!”
But feel free to keep pretending like we did...
@manifesto lol spin it how you want to make it sound like you’re always right without acknowledging the rudeness you showed to those that frankly called it right, if that’s what makes you feel good.
Tell me though, what price sensitive information was released today? After all, you did tell the BB:
“There is no way that he would announce news like this and not have something significant to share........As I have already posted, he probably wanted to release this news on Friday but as the US markets were closed had to wait until tomorrow.. We will not be disappointed...IMHO!”
IMHO an investor webinar isn’t the “big news” you told us it would be...
@deepsurvey it's a bit hard for the market to price in a deal for which it has no idea of the terms and exactly how favourable those terms will be for Shanta...
We are also yet to receive the balance sheet update and they commented in the presentation that this will provide "colour as to financial strength that they see from the inside" and I think in this it will demonstrate their abilities to finance Singida themselves - something I think the market is awaiting confirmation of. I'd say this is overdue now - my notes show they expected end of June in the presentation (?) - so selling ahead of this, despite what effect you may consider pog to have here (although I think has been said before Shanta's never really traded in line with pog), imo seems a little premature but each to their own of course.
And I also think further info on the West Kenya acquisition is due to land this month... so imo checking back in a few weeks may be a bit too late...
@jhfh definitely get that list of questions emailed in now so it gets them thinking. HEMO need to realise the kind of detailed answers shareholders are after right now - it's an 'investor' presentation, not a 'shareholder' one so let's hope they do actually intend to respond to 'hard-hitting' questions, not just general overview faff.
It's a shame it's not through a more prominent media site - I mentioned I emailed them last week suggesting doing more presentations, but with Proactive, Vox etc. - but it's definitely better than nothing and good to see them pushing themselves to shout about HEMO more.
@micky you need to actually go into HEMO’s channel https://youtu.be/LP95GWupyNA
Exciting stuff, never waited for a YouTube premiere before..! :-)
@JHFH do you think your Pfizer speculation pushed them to announce something? ;-) Think it’s too early for any reveal tbf but I can’t believe it won’t be anything other than cracking news.
GLA!
They've finally upped the BID - 14.17p to buy vs 13.9p to sell - let's see if it can push further into the close, would setup any potential news next week nicely
@everyone I got into RENE in 2014 and it's just been sat in my bottom drawer since. I managed to top up during the March sell-off and it's been good to see it perk up a bit recently. It's naturally a long term hold so one to get less excited about on a daily/weekly/even monthly basis, as shown by only the handful of trades a day and the relatively quiet BB, but that doesn't make the developments any less significant.
It's great to see the flurry of treatment, study and collaboration updates of late. What are people expecting over the coming months and into next year? - The exosome collaborations with major bios are looking particularly good, although it would be nice for us to get a hint at some numbers to see real value added to the sp.
Anyway, just a 'hi' really
Crazy watching just how out of hand this has gotten over the last 5 months and how the different countries have surpassed each other in cases over that time
https://youtu.be/jwpIJ6sY0GM
@CD agreed, I don't think POG is the biggest value catalyst heading our way this month
@JHFH after @lunus' success I emailed them yesterday :'-D suggesting that they start getting a bit more active with the media e.g. Proactive, Vox, Share Talk etc. to get in front of more investors and really sell what HEMO is doing. I'm sure there are probably some restrictions due to Globalco secrecy but who knows - figured it was worth a prod anyway but hoping they're already on it tbh
