George Frangeskides, Chairman at ALBA, explains why the Pilbara Lithium option ‘was too good to miss’. Watch the video here.
@charlie you know full well writing something like that you’re going to get a response - that’s what you were after right? Particularly when nothing you’ve said is actually backed up with any actual evidence relevant to the company.
Replace HEMO in your post with pretty much any ticker and you could post that on any BB here, no actual facts, just sweeping generalisations. And I wouldn’t say you’re that accurate with what you’ve said regarding this BB anyway, there’s been plenty of bickering, plenty of ramping, plenty of deramping of late - certainly not the communal safeguarding you’re suggesting.
Plenty of shares do 10 bag or get close, it’s just about timing, sentiment and positive news flow.
@shocker let's be realistic, Covid-19 isn't falling away in a month's time and when a month's time does come i.e. end of July then we're probably only ~1 month away from the AIHL test launching (autumn 2020) which GDR estimates is £38.5M revenue annually - I think a £66M mcap (current sp) should be able to support that more than easily... Naturally if Covid-19 disappeared (unlikely) then people would jump ship quick but once the AIHL numbers start landing it's a whole different ball game here anyway.
@jhfh thanks for the info, that's kind of what I had assumed but wasn't clear if it certain we'd have an RNS to say who they are. Like you say, once treatments/licensing etc. begins it'll become quite obvious, but I think the market will likely want definitive confirmation.
@spurs ha good, otherwise you've got a few different personalities ;-)
@spurs I can't tell if you're being sarcastic or not..? :-P
A lot is doing across the board today (my watchlist at least) so I don't think it's HEMO specific. Shame to have lost some of the gains from last week, but seems to just be going through the motions at the moment - nothing that significant either way. Once news lands we'll see how quick this moves - up or down, but let's hope for up!
I know there's been lots of speculation about globalco - just wondering, do we actually know that we will ever find out who they are..?
Great to see some positive momentum today following the presentation last week. Let's hope we can keep it up all week - slow and steady 5-10% every day would be very nice indeed and give us a decent platform when Barrick etc. news begins to land
@punter read it properly before starting your usual nit picking please
“The so-called RT-PCR test detects virus particles. It will be administered by nurses using throat and nose swabs beyond customs and immigration controls. An alternative saliva test, which is quicker and easier to administer, will also be trialled.”
Adding to that, even with it done in the airport, what happens if the passenger you sat next to on the plane gets a positive test result 24hrs later..? Are they going to contact you as part of the test/trace program and make you self isolate even though you tested negative? Getting a negative result at the airport doesn’t mean you couldn’t have caught it from another passenger and then come down with Covid over the next few days...
@magsy I don't believe they come as standard no, I was just adding to your "there wasn't anything that suggests" comment. Given NCYT didn't make it clear in their RNS, and I think if they would have given what GDR has shouted about, then I'm assuming not - perhaps @technick can jump in and confirm..?
@magsy nor the temperature stability or the human RNA control... you mustn't forget to add those in too. So basically it doesn't look anything much like like-for-like to ours, other than it's caught up on reducing the number or steps...
@tornadotony SHG's EBIDTA is $75M at current pog and against their mcap of $114M that's a P/E of only 1.5. At 21p their mcap would be $207M which is a P/E of 2.8 and that doesn't take into account any of the potential revenue from Singida and West Kenya. SHG is vastly undervalued as it currently stands and it should probably already be >21p imo. I think as the guys alluded to last night, once they can release the exciting details of their latest acquisitions then the market will begin to understand the serious potential here
@peckham don't get me wrong, I'd prefer the buyout :-) And as I mentioned yesterday, in terms of Vlad seeing the treatments through and needing the clout of a big pharma to do this, I think he'd rather be on the frontline (i.e. a position within the globalco et al) than licensing out. Definitely exciting weeks and months to come here
@peckham cheers mate all good here thanks, hope you're well too. Yeh it's a possibility (even though t/os are always banded about on shares) and one of the ones called out will probably be right - let's hope it doesn't end up being chemist! - although the potential licensing numbers posted this morning are pretty attractive too!
I think this is one to definitely hold for at least 6 months to see how it pans out and then re-strategise depending on what's gone on, but each to their own of course. As I said yesterday if you-know-what gets the rocket it needs ;-) then I'll be top-slicing some of the profits into here for sure if the price is still around these levels
