to all the regulars on the CRV board. A difficult 2016 for all we LTHs and I only hope that 2017 proves to be a much better year. Thank you for all the contributions to this board by the regulars and please remember that I am more than happy to ask questions at the AGM on behalf of all LTHs. Scargs
I am going to the above and I have booked my flight from Leeds Bradford to Dublin. I am more than happy to ask questions on behalf of those people who contribute to this board. If you would like me to ask questions just post them here and I will pick them up. Scargs
I think we will see the above for the year ending the 31/5/16 this coming Wednesday (30/11). Looking forward to reading them and hopefully CRV will tell us LTHs what is going on since the interims and post the financial year end.
Karina1 (hope you and the family are well) and Myfairlady Whether the Asset Value per share is $11.00 or $9.30 I continually wonder why $13,290,000 has been raised at $12.50 a share. Why would anybody pay $12.50 a share unless there I good reason. There must be a bigger picture on the horizon.
As I posted earlier a very unusual move, if true, for CRV to credit Panda's solicitors with $2m. Was it $s or was it Euros? However the good news is as follows. If indeed the money was credited to Panda's solicitors, and if the solicitors and Panda deny that credit never happened, then it will be very simple for CTV's solicitors to prove the transaction by requesting bank statements which will show the credit. If the credit happened and Panda and their solicitors deny it ever happened, and it was proved that it actually did happen, then that is all good for CRV. Scargs
Why would CRV give $2m to Panda's solicitors?? A very unusual thing to do OR am I missing a trick? I could understand it a bit more if CRV gave the $2m to their own solicitors as a gesture of good faith to take on the case against Panda. Any thoughts?
An excellent post and I agree 100% with what you have written. I am also going to see this investment out. Of course I would like to see more CRV transparency as I have no real idea what is going on. However I am prepared to take this on the chin. When I think about what is going on, especially the several recent investments @ $12.50 a share, there has to be a bigger picture. How many LTHs are still on board? To those LTHs who are still invested in CVR "keep the faith" however frustrating this is. Scargs
that CVR is developing a much bigger situation. Why would somebody spend $3,000,000 to buy 240,000 shares @ $12.50 a share when the share price was $7.75 at the close of last week. I fully understand that that amount of shares could not be bought in the open market, however whoever has bought these new 240,000 shares @ $12.50 each must believe that there is something cooking which will generate a good return on their investment.
Karina and thank you for posting the article. I am hoping that new Chairman Richard Burrows will make sure that there will be much more transparency regarding Craven House Capital. I am hoping that shareholders and the market in general will be informed about the progress with the company, the strategy behind current and future investments all of which will have a positive effect on the share price. There is no doubt that this is a really major appointment which can only be positive for Craven House Capital. I am sure there will be interest from abroad and this will have as major impact.
this morning. I cannot remember the last time there was a 1000 share purchase. This purchase may well be the largest share purchase post consolidation. On the other hand, I could be wrong as I cannot remember what I had for breakfast this morning!!!!# What do you regulars think???????????? Scargs
The reason why there are no takers at 0.98p old money is because the shares are quoted is $s and nobody knows about the company. If there are sells then the mms mark down the shares. We really are in no win situation and that is why so we need that reverse take over deal.
To make my point clearer, the fact that CRV is quoted, bought and sold in dollars is a complication to the vast majority of private investors. The reason why CRV is quoted in dollars, as explained by Mark Pajak, is to attract overseas institutions.
The main reason, in my opinion, why the CRV share price does not react to the announcement of money being raised by the issue of shares at $12.50 (35% premium) is because the shares are quoted and traded in dollars. Also CRV is very much off most investors radar. Not too many people know anything about CRV. I hope Mark is working towards a deal which involves a reverse takeover at a decent price. This would be the perfect exit.
confirmed that Mark Pajak has raised circa £1,400,000 by issuing shares @ $12.50, 35% above yesterday's mid price. This is another instance where a company is getting on board the CRV train. The war chest is getting bigger and as the RNS said hopefully more transactions at a premium to follow. Surely there is a big deal in the pipeline from which these investors will benefit and we private investors will benefit. Keep the faith that Mark Pajak will deliver. Scargs
