Captain Stanley, I agree it isn't very clear the method of delivery,
Affimer® technology is a novel class of biotherapeutic based on a naturally occurring human protein called Stefin A.
Affimer® proteins are rapidly cleared from the body if not engaged with their target. The PK/PD of therapeutic Affimers can be tuned using Affimer® XT, a serum albumin binding Affimer half-life extension platform, or using Affimer-Fc fusions. Other Affimer® based half-life extension technologies, such as hyaluronic acid binding Affimer® proteins, are in development.
Peptides represent a billion-dollar market in the pharmaceutical industry, but they can generally only be taken as injections to avoid degradation by stomach enzymes. Scientists have now developed a method to generate peptides that resist enzymatic degradation and can be taken orally.
Sub cut injections, IV. Best guess tbh. There is nothing to say it can/cannot be administered through a nebulizer, but there is no need for it to be. Sng has the benefit of being directly administered to the site as sub cut or iv, there are more side effects. Tils also are doing direct to lungs but going through saftey and efficency trials. Please correct me if my understanding is wrong, I am not in the field tbh.
