I have little in common with BT but I respected his privacy and going forward I don't believe no matter how much certain posters just don't get on with others,I believe there should be a line drawn on personal matters and just get on with arguing about company fundamentals as much as possible. Arun is prob reacting to criticism and communicating in the only way he currently can at the moment via linked in. For me; the important part on it is the remark to double the workforce over 24 months to 3000 Not sure the no. of apprenticeships this would include though. i.m.o. this is a far more realistic growth projection figure to achieve a Rev. of a very approx. 400m in two years,thereby not over promising on targets and a more controlled expansion. I would expect to see revised realistic Rev forecast in the forthcoming accounts and trading updates that we may actually think are achievable. Do other shareholders actually believe that 500m was achievable so soon?. just wondering..

SiD I would agree and I'd say communication from the board will be a major talking point at the a.g.m. I personally don't really care much for cruise ship refurb's / ferries t.b.h.-not my thing and some shareholders seem to be here for IM only. The bod can only be held accountable "after" any strategies they have taken have failed and not before. For me, I hope their focus will be on heavy Eng. whether its shipbuilding, barges, docks - anything that gets that expensive machinery operating 24:7 and hope that they get their strategies right.!

I feel the bod were well aware that this may well happen. If you recall back to the Scrutiny Comm. and JW comments on having to keep cards close to chest, as there were underhand things being done by IOSSC but he couldn't elaborate. I would also "second" others comments about having quite a few excellent and diligent posters on board, and only for their guidance and knowledge would leave a lot of us up the creek without a paddle; and struggling to get through these final hurdles. Feeling more confident for the weeks ahead no matter what turns the SP takes.

Considering the FIPASS was priced at £157m in 22 by Bam Nuttal and didn't go ahead because of costing, the repercussions for this project alone could be severe. assume HW are at say £110m with their proposal, If it wasn't to go ahead with HW what are the alternatives? There is no guarantee that another Co. would take it on, and then the time delays. then what, a re tender to BN ? They could easily re-quote £170m (+10% - an additional £60m) The ramifications to cover all costs of delays (e.g. searose, cruisers etc) could be huge. ain't going to happen i.m.o
