I've not been posting here as I've been otherwise engaged trading in shares that actually have some upside. Thought I'd just check in here to see how well VLS are doing. Some new posters, good to see. There are 3 things in life people can be certain of; death, taxes and Double Headed Coin ramping VLS.

Agreed the price variance over a month is literally staggering as there has been no new news out in that time. It certainly takes a brave or stupid man to take market sentiment, only time will tell which camp many here fall into.

Buying at this level still looks on the face of it to be catching a falling knife. The constant downward pressure and even below 10p still few buys suggests it's got a way to go yet to find it's own bottom.

VLS is going to end the day below 10p? Appears to certainly be showing good resistance to go below with only a handful of sales goung through under the magical 10p. However the volume of sales is far outweighing the buys by some considerable distance most days at the moment so if that continues, it won't be able to hold for much longer.

Looks like the sellers outnumbered the buyers by close.

Looks like I'm already looking closer with my prediction of 9.6p than a lot of others with their 15 to 20p in a couple of days.

I think it was more of a dead vat bounce than rocketing to be honest ha ha

I take my hat off to you stew200, ever the optimist. I just go to bed thanking my lucky stars you aren't in control of my pension fund and got all my pension tied up in vls, otherwise my plan to retire at 40 might be in jeopardy.

VLS still as flat as a pancake though

I'm officially out of velocys for the time being. There is literally no telling where this share is going in the short to medium term. I would love to share the optimism on here that it's going to hit 20p in X days but there is literally nothing to support that view apart from a speculative punt that they are going to qualify for a grant. Even then, we have no way of knowing what the level of that grant will be bit pretty sure it will be nowhere near the figures banded around here.

Not sure it's so much as insider information but more market sentiment seems to be firmly against the share and has been for most of the last 12 months. Even last week a couple of days had higher purchases than sales but still went down. Some sales went through today at under 10p, that is significant to me in that I predicted this would happen. Hope I'm wrong but 9.6p will likely be with us this week.

It will be interesting to see if vls can hold it's own and cling onto neutral territory or move in a positive manner. Not convinced it will though.

The great news about the bank holiday weekend is with the markets being closed vls cant go down. Lets drink to that

My advice guys is that at least wait for the knife to have finished falling before pouring more good money after bad. The constant downward movement of vls day after day tells me this knife hasnt hit the ground yet. As i said earlier the true test will be at the support level around 9.6p. If it breaches that, it could go down to 5p or lower. Always ask yourself, if the share price has halved, can it be halved again? Unless the share is worth 0 then the answer has to always be yes.

Since when did anyone with a view have to be invested in the share? If thats the case, that is why 80% of people on here are whirring themselves into a complete frenzy about where this share is going. Not being invested means I don't have the blinkers on like 80% of the people on here. Whoever is still suggesting that now is a great time to try and average down and plough yet more money into this share as the market has pushed the pr ice too low ... sure it was Einstein that said that the definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over and expecting different results. Averaging down is exactly that. It's like a gambler betting more and more money when on a losing streak, yeah there is a slim chance that you might win but the odds just get slimmer and slimmer.

Even at these levels, there were good volumes of dumping going on this morning. Call it manipulation all you want but putting our tin foil hats to the side for a moment, let's look at what we know. Vls are already burning through the cash raised at the last round of funding, fact. They aren't making a profit yet, fact. Abramovich could buy this company outright if he wanted for half the money he would spent on a decent yacht but hasnt because he doesn't want to, fact. This share price has been in constant decline fof the last year barring two days of upward movement a few weeks ago, fact. For all of these reasons, I think that the share price will continue to decline until it meets it's lower resistance at 9.6p which it was bobbing along on before the announcement. I think it'll bobble around there for months if not years. I'm happy to get £10 that my prediction is closer to reality that those saying this is going to double or treble over the next few weeks.

Good luck to DHC, Shalamar and stew200. You're going to need it to avoid losing the shirts on your backs on this one. This looks like it's going only one way and it ain't up.

If I had said such a thing I would probably be having convulsions at the cheapness of them now. Apoplectic one might say. It's like a shop selling 10 pound notes for 5 pounds.
